1. When you press the ‘FX’ button (circled in red) – these two windows appear.
For our project, we use ‘VST’, which stands for Virtual Studio Technology. We use this because VST is the best way to alter audio that we have created or recorded.
‘VSTi’ is similar but only when used with instruments.
I then chose the ‘BATTERY ACID’ effect at the top of the list (circled).
2. I then started to alter the audio by using the various tools that BATTERY ACID has to offer. By playing about with all of them I managed to change the audio
considerably.
It has a strange echo noise to it as well as sounding like it is coming from a ‘walkie-talkie’ radio.
3. For my next piece of audio I decided to use the ‘dblue Glitch’ effect.
By once again messing about with the tools I had drastically changed the original piece of audio.
This time it sounds almost like a DJ is scratching a record and you can only hear half of the sentence.
