Volunteering Opportunities
At The Unity Centre
“Volunteering at the Unity Centre is a unique opportunity, it allows
individuals to use The Unity Centre as a step onto employment.. A lot of
volunteering across the Borough is aimed at Charitable outcomes, and
although The Unity Centre offers a lot of services to the community, the
main reason I think why volunteers come here is that it gives them
practical real work experience, whether that be because they are looking
for a change in career, to gain work experience or to keep themselves
busy until they find the right job, the experiences and benefits are
invaluable both to the individual and to the Unity Centre as a whole. We
really appreciate the work, time and effort that our volunteers put into the
Centre. I have thoroughly enjoyed my employment here as the Volunteer
Coordinator and look forward to future developments”
