All the novels of Thomas Hardy are impregnated for the belief in
a universe dominated by the biology of Charles Darwin Isaac
Newton. It is a world where the destiny of the
individuals altered by the luck and where human will is
conquered by the need. The descriptions of the of the
field, the mountain, the stations and the clime of
Wessex are a presence that acts as mirror of the
psychological conditions and the luck of the
characters. Hardy looks them with irony and sadness.
Tess Of the D’Urbervilles
In the tess of de D’Urbervilles Hardy describes the farm
machinery with images of hell. Classes reject Tess, woman who
had a kind of shots eva in harmony with the natural world and
so beautiful and desirable that the same appears to be in love
with her. When I was going to Brazil, fell ill. All these cases are
usually interpreted as indications of the negative consequences
of the separation of man from nature, both in the creation of
mechanisms of destruction and the inability to enjoy pure
nature. Other subject is the virginity .Tess is despised by
society to lose their virginity before marriage.
