 It include Africa ,southern parts of Arabia.
 It is divided into four sub-region.
1. East Africa sub region: tropical Africa, Tropical
Arabia
2. West African sub region: Congo River
3. South African sub region : South Africa
4. Malagasy sub region : Madagascar island
 Its total area is 1,104 million km square .

Boundaries :
 All sides are surrounded by sea except north side

 At North side pelearctic region is present .
 Sahara desert separate Ethiopian and palearctic
region

grassy plains, thick tropical forest are present
