A busy and changing schedule has proven to create an unbalanced diet and exercise routine. The BMI found was 21 for a height of 5'7", and weight
of 135Ibs. However, this does not represent an insufficient sodium intake. The average intake of 1,748.7mg (Table 4) was found. The amount of
calories from fat taken in, which is 35.88% on average, is also slightly above what is recommended. The recommended amount is 20–30% (Table 4).
The following formula was used to determine the percent of fat from calories:
% of Calories from Fat=(Fat (gm) Г— 9 kcalgmCalories (kcal))Г— 100
One gram of fat is equivalent to nine calories. Table 5 presents the energy intake total in Kcalories at 1,518.33Kcal which is 969.24Kcal short of the

It was found to be slightly below average. The blood pressure was 72.5/115.5mmHg, on average. A person should aim to have a blood pressure of

around the upper arm, and a stethoscope is then placed below the wrap on top of the brachial artery on the inside curve of the elbow. Two fingers were

Option A– Human nutrition and health
Components of the human diet
A nutrient is a chemical substance found in foods that is used in the human body. The nutrients needed in the human diet are amino acids, fatty acids,
minerals, vitamins and water. Metabolic fuel is often supplied from carbohydrates and fats, which are almost, always present in human diets but
specific carbohydrates are not essential. * Metabolic fuel can also be supplied from proteins. Chemical energy is all the fuels are transferred into a
required movement/action (contracting muscle) by respiration. * Combined nitrogen required for the building of proteins. They have to be hydrolyzed
to their constituent amino acids for them to work. * Vitamins are... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thyroxine) are manufactured from the amino acid tyrosine + the mineral iodine. Thyroid hormones affect all body cells. They cause an increase in the
rate of energy production (aka basal rate of metabolism).
Iodine deficiency common in many countries since most food normally have little iodine. Sea food good source of iodine. If not added to the diet
people develop swelling of thyroid glands, this causing goite. + in pregnant women can cause the child to be born with brain damage.
Highest rates found in countries where little iodine is present in soil (so crops) and drinking water.
Iodine deficiency can be prevented by the addition of salt.
Vitamin addition to diet
There is an increase in dietary supplements, specifically vitamin pills. However, little evidence of effectiveness. The use of vitamins is mainly popular
in competitive athletes ad elderly, who are concerned about their decreasing health. But, they are also used when an individual lacks a specific mineral
or vitamin.
Multivitamin capsules contain the recommended quantity of each vitamin. But, once the body is saturated with the required vitamins, excess vitamins
can accumulate. Many vitamins are water–soluble and any excess is quickly excreted, but vitamins, which are not soluble, they accumulate can toxic

The Four Basic Food Molecules
A molecule is a group of atoms bonded together that represent the smallest unit of a chemical compound that can take part in a chemical reaction. (http:
//www.dictionary.com) In kitchen chemistry today, there are many types of food molecules such as minerals, vitamins, fiber, and water. But there are
four molecules that people refer to as food, also known as the four basic food molecules, which can be used to produce energy which are carbohydrates,
lipids, proteins, and alcohol which is not considered a basic nutritional component of food.
Protein is a compound that's made up of amino acids that are joined by peptide bonds. It is considered the most important molecule which can come in
two forms, complete proteins and incomplete proteins. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Carbs that are composed of monosaccharide's break down under hydrolysis which can also be classified under disaccharides, oligosaccharides, or
polysaccharides, depending on how many monosaccharide units are present. Carbs can also be called simple or complex carbohydrates but this
depends on their chemical structure. Simple carbohydrates only include sugars that are found in foods like fruits, vegetables, milk, and milk
products. They also include sugars that are added during food processing and refining. Complex carbohydrates include whole grain breads and cereals,
and starchy vegetables such as green beans, broccoli, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, mushrooms, or celery which are also good sources of fiber.
Last, we have vitamins. These are organic compounds that are essential in our diet. They fall into two categories and those categories are fat soluble
and water soluble. The fat–soluble vitamins, Vitamins A, D, E, & K all dissolve in fat and can be stored in your body. The water soluble vitamins
which are vitamin B & C need to be dissolved in water before your body can absorb them. Because of this, people's bodies can't store these vitamins
and any B or C vitamin that your body doesn't is lost. So it is highly recommended that you have these vitamins every day.
Vitamins help the immune system work; support normal growth and development, and help cells and organs do

Food Pyramid Research Paper
Late eighties, Food Guide Pyramid's process began by the United States Department of Agriculture. They introduced it in 1992. The guideline was
based on bread, cereal, rice, and pasta. And they added a plenty of low–fat foods in the guideline caused on decreasing heart disease, obesity, diabetes,
and other chronic conditions. And companies reengineered products to low–fat and fat–free. Unfortunately, following diet has not helped us to lose
weight or decrease disease.

like we are targeted by Fast Food Industries because low–fat is much chipper than natural fats. Moreover, the guideline effected harm. Instead of

The Oppression Of Fat People In America
The Oppression of Fat People in America
Fat does not equal lazy; fat does not equal bad; fat does not equal overeating; fat does not equal ugly. Fat oppression is something so prevalent in
our society, yet Americans refuse to recognize it as a problem or even an issue. After hearing an amazing woman named Nomy Lamm speak this
weekend, I could not longer let this issue be ignored. (Lamm is a fat oppression activist and has been published in Ms. magazine). Fat oppression
exists in this society and we all must recognize the damage it does to everyone, especially fat people.
Fat is not a bad word. I use the word fat just as I would use the words short, tall or blonde. The only thing wrong with the word fat is the manner in
which it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the 60s, doctors used such arcane surgeries as stomach stapling and intestinal bypass to curb the "problem" of fatness. Now, we have a million
diets which admittedly can make people skinny for a while but eventually leave them fatter than they were initially. Because the body, and the heart
specifically, is forced to deal with differing body sizes, various medical problems occur. While many will tell you being fat is bad for one's health, a
fat person dieting and then getting fat again is much worse.
The entire process is futile because body size is generally predetermined before birth. Why is it that "obese" people can eat only 800 calories a day
and still gain weight? Why is it I can eat junk food all day and not gain weight and some of my fat friends can be vegan and still remain fat? Fat is not
a new phenomenon only Americans encounter, and contrary to popular opinion, America is not the fattest country in the world. Fat is prevalent
everywhere; it is just in this country that people treat it like it is the undesirable exception rather than the accepted norm.
And please don't tell me fat people aren't oppressed in our society. My friend went on her first diet at age 7 and has been body–conscious ever since. It
isn't fat people who decide they don't like their bodies – it is because America has taught them to hate their bodies (I don't mean to dismiss those fat

Characteristics Of Saturated Fats
Saturated fats include nuts, and in a recent study not only were nuts a good source of saturated fat, but they were also proven to improve lipid profile
of inflammatory biomarkers. Participants from cohort studies has high risk for cardiac disease, but those who had a higher consumption of nuts and
exercised consistently were more likely to have lower c–reactive protein and IL–6 concentrations (5). They ate higher amount of nuts because they
replaced red meats, processed meats, and refined grains with nuts. This reduced their risk of getting heart disease because their overall state of
inflammation was reduced, and chronic low–grade inflammation is known for being a culprit in all phases of atherosclerosis. The studies strengths were

There was another study that studied if a Mediterranean diet could decrease inflammation and improve one's heart health. In this study, inflammation
caused by diet and telomere length were evaluated with those who have a high risk of heart disease. With the use of the dietary inflammatory index,
they looked to see the association between diet–related inflammation and telomere length. Telomere length affects how our cells age, and if they
shorten, then it will shorten one's life as well as makine one more susceptible to disease. This study was a cross– sectional and longitudinal study that
resulted in a consistent beneficial effect with aging and health when consuming a anti–inflammatory diet (7). The beneficial effects were that it
changed their telomere length. Anti–inflammatory diets they included were Mediterranean diets supplemented with olive oil, and Mediterranean diets
supplemented with mixed nuts. The control group was on a low fat diet. This study also showed that a proinflammatory diet can affect a person
telomere length by drastically shortening it (7). More specifically, proinflammatory foods include fried foods, refined carbohydrates, and sugar and
anti–inflammatory foods include vegetables like kale/spinach, fruits like tomatoes/blueberries, fatty fish, and nuts.
Unlike with inflammation, there are more diets proven to improve hypertension. In this specific study 3 different diets were given to participants who

parents(Photoshop). In recent years it has seemed that the media, and society in general are praising unrealistic beauty standards and claiming them to
be ideal. Any person can take a quick look in a magazine, on the internet, or on television and see any number of pictures of people with extreme
features that society claims make them superior. This has made an impact on today's generation in such an extreme manner that "80% of 10–year–old

Last week a comedian named Nicole Arbour released a video on her youtube channel titled "Dear Fat People". The video has over 4 million views
in just over 7 days. According to Boston's NPR news section it is one of the "top social media scandals of the year". Nicole Arbour's youtube
channel is most popular for her "video rants" as well as other videos she has made in attempt at comedy. In "Dear Fat People" she talks about a
matter of issues she feels "fat people " should work on. She claims that fat people get special treatment that an average weighted person does not.
She gives an example that she felt a common person could relate to. She says that in security lines in airports, people who are fat get to cut the line
and security checks them first. This proves to one of her major points in making the video. She says that her video is not shame fat people but to
encourage them to lose weight (Schlack). "Fat shaming is not a thing; fat people made that up. That's the race card, with no race." She ended her
video with some advice saying that if you want to end your weight issues "put down the oreos". People by nature judge their surroundings. It is
something all living organisms do, judging people, food, as well as anything else is vital to survival, but the weight of a person is not a factor in
determining the quality of a human being. The media has helped project different stereotypes onto people and it is hard for some people to
overcome them. A survey in Teen People Magazine in 2014 showed that over 50% of teenagers assumed that being fat was a sign of laziness, and
45% of the participants also said that "fat people smell bad and do not care about their bodies" (Schlack). It does not just go in way, as skinny
shaming has become a problem too. It seems that no matter the body a person can be given, there will always be

Essay On Ablooproteinemia
Abetalipoproteinemia (ABL) is a rare inherited disorder affecting fat metabolism. Abnormal fat metabolism prevents the body from completely
absorbing dietary fats, cholesterol, and fat–soluble vitamins. Without treatment, people affected by this disorder can experience progressive
neurological deterioration, muscle weakness, difficulty walking, and blood abnormalities in which the red blood cells deform resulting in low levels
of circulating red blood cells (anemia). Dietary fats and vitamins are essential for proper growth and development of various body systems.
Consequently, degeneration of the retina of the eyes may also occur in affected people. This can potentially result in loss of vision, a condition known
as retinitis pigmentosa.
This disorder is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait and is caused by mutations in the microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTTP) gene.
Beta–lipoprotein that work to carry fats and cholesterol in the blood is missing due to the MTTP gene mutations. The MTTP gene provides instructions
for making microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, which is essential for creating beta–lipoproteins. The mutations in this gene lead to abnormally
short microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, causing the nutritional and neurological problems. ABL is also called Bassen–Kornzweig syndrome

There are 6 main nutrients present in the food such as carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. But according to chemistry, foods can
be classified as micro nutrients (vitamins and minerals–required in small amount) and macro nutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and fats–required in
higher amount). Carbohydrates can be classified into two different classifications as sugars (monosaccharides and oligosaccharides) and non–sugars or
polysaccharides according to its chemical structure. The whole classification of carbohydrates can be classified as follows.
Monosaccharides are mostly common five–carbon or six–carbon poly hydroxyl ketones and aldehydes. Monosaccharides can be also called as simplest
sugar such as glucose, galactose and fructose. Two monosaccharides are able to join together in condensation reactions by using glycosidic linkage to
from disaccharides. Maltose, lactose and fructose are the examples of disaccharides. The most complex form of the sugars are polysaccharides and
they contain many monosaccharides connected through glycosidic linkage. Both disaccharides and polysaccharides do hydrolysis to produce
components of monosaccharides which be absorbed by the body.
The glucose is the primary source of energy and it's the simple sugar body prefers. When glucose enters the body, body stimulates pancreas to produce
insulin. Insulin is one of the hormone produced by pancreas to regulates the carbohydrates and metabolise the body fat.

Dieting Makes People Fat
Dieting Makes People Fat Introduction/Claim Research has demonstrated that dieting, or the intention to restrict one's food intake, does not work
and quite remarkably, works against the individual ultimately making them gain rather than lose weight. A new study relates that dieting serves
to raise the levels of hormones that stimulate the individual's appetite resulting in the brain magnifying food cravings. The Research/Data The
Work of Carver (2012) entitled "Does Dieting Make People Ft" relates "The human body is scheduled to detect hunger signals and not to diet.
When we deny our bodies food, they sense that there is a risk of starvation and as a result, the hunger increases forcing the body metabolism to
slow down so as to compensate for it. Once one engages in dieting, the mind overdrives, forcing the individual to eat more than usual to cover up
the deprivation just suffered. This is how the body prepares itself for an emergency of famine. By the end of the whole process, one eats more than
before the dieting to soothe the body and emotions (Cannon & Einzig, 1983)." (p.1) Carver additionally relates, "Most diets fail due to wrong focus.
They promise big things in a very short duration to attract customers. By one trying to lose a lot of weight very fast, they expose their bodies to
disarray that can worsen to shock. In most cases, these people lose weight but temporarily. The only way to permanent loss of weight is to think of

In humans/animals, the main cells that store fat for energy are adipocytes. These fat cells are found under the skin, in the abdominal cavity and
surround major organs. The fatty tissue is the body's main means of storing energy for long periods of time. Lipids, like triglycerides are stored in the
adipocytes until ready to be used by the body for energy.Fat is broken down through metabolism in the mitochondria of the cell. The triglycerides are
broken down into glycerol and 3 fatty acids. The glycerol can be easily converted to glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate, an intermediate of glycolysis. From
there it can go through the Krebs Cycle and electron transport chain to make ATP. The 3 fatty acids can be broken... Show more content on

Every cell membrane incorporates a fluid mosaic model. The "mosaic" of protein molecules embedded in a lipid bilayer. It's fluid as most proteins and
lipid molecules drift through it. The membrane consists of a phospholipid bilayer embedded with various proteins. The proteins help to get polar
/hydrophilic molecules through the plasma membrane. Polar molecules have difficulty passing thru the hydrophilic membrane. Nonpolar molecules
however, easily pass thru. The proteins can be integral proteins, meaning they go all the way through the lipid bilayer or peripheral proteins that sit on
the hydrophilic outer layer and wait for something to happen. The layers are somewhat fluid, allowing the proteins to move across them. See diagram
below.
No fat diets can actually do more harm than good. The body needs moderation of all energy producing macronutrients; fats, carbohydrates and
proteins. By not eating any fat, the body starts to utilize the fats stored in the body, thus depleting the stores and people lose weight. However, once
those stores are gone, the good fats or HDL's, are no longer able to filter out the bad cholesterol. This can lead to increased cholesterol levels in the
blood and heart disease. A no fat diet also causes poor vitamin absorption of the necessary fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Fats transport those
vitamins from the liver to various parts of the body.

Red Palm Oil or Red Palm Foiled: Dr. Oz's Bold Claims Debunked

Dr. Oz, the beloved host of the popular television health show The Dr. Oz Show, has a new superfood ready to improve everyone's health: red palm

The Keto Diet And How It Affects The Body Essay

The Keto Diet And How It Affects The Body
The keto diet is a diet that specializes in burning fat. The way it works is when you only take in fats then your body will be forced to burn the fat
instead of carbs. My brother has been doing this diet for almost a year now and has lost a bunch of weight because of it. Some food that are in the
restrictions include cheeses, red meats, vegetables, and some fruit that don't have a lot of sugars. This diet has many uses and is a very interesting
thing to study. Ketosis is a metabolic state in which the liver produces ketone.
When it comes to energy production, fat is actually required. Fatty acids are broken down by the liver to beta–hydroxybutyrate and acetoacetate. When
it comes down to the krebs cycle, B–OHB is brought into the mitochondria and is converted into acetoacetate which is broken down into acetoacetyl
CoA. This is then further broken down into acetyl CoA and this is what is used in the Krebs cycle. When ketone bodies are added to the glucose in the
Krebs cycle it increases the metabolic efficiency. A human can survive on fat way longer than a human can survive on glucose and protein. Although
living completely without carbs is possible, a balance between carbs and fats–eating more fats than carbs– can increase your body 's metabolic
efficiency.
Ketosis is a process that occurs within the body when a lack of carbs and an overflow of fats are

How Does Cholesterol Affects Your Body
Cholesterol affects everyone at some point in time. Cholesterol is a lipid, a soft, fat–like substance that in a reasonable amount is crucial in
maintaining good health. The liver produces a fat like a particle known as cholesterol. People ingest cholesterol daily in the food they eat call
lipoproteins. The body needs Cholesterol to make Vitamin, hormones, and bile. A buildup of cholesterol in the walls causes plaque formation damaging
and hardening the wall of the arteries. The hardened plaque narrow the blood flow through the artery known as Atherosclerosis. The consequence of

Persuasive Essay On Why People Is Fat
When people hear these three words, many people probably become disgusted or full of judgements. Shaming people because they can't appreciate the

Recalling one time, I mention to other people I need to go on diet. And due to my unhealthy health record, many people discouraged me and told
me not to go on a diet. It became quite annoying when people use the word diet referring to losing weight, but more specifically losing fat.
However, the diet I was talking about was eating three meals a day instead of eating one meal a day. The modern era with the misconception of the

Dieting Makes People Fat Essay
Dieting makes people fat and eating makes people lose weight. When people want to lose weight, the first thing they think about is to start dieting.
Dieting is a regimen of eating and drinking sparingly to reduce one's weight (Webster, 2015). Most of the people who are dieting have the same
purpose, which is to lose some weight and have a better–looking body. A person starting any kind of diet will probably lose some weight, but
non–balanced diets have secondary effects. For example, when they stop dieting, they gain more weight than what they have lost during the diet
period. People should not get into diets without knowing how to do them. Diets can be very dangerous for anyone. The three main reasons why
dieting makes people fat are it upsets the metabolism, it affects people's mental health, and it makes people have body malfunctions. First of all, dieting
makes people lose control of their metabolism. When people want to start a diet without knowing how to do it, the first thing that comes to their mind

very low morale and they are never happy with their body. They always want to look better than what they are even if they do not look bad initially.

High Choolesterol Levels
High cholesterol levels can be a strong risk factor for cardiovascular disease, especially atherosclerosis. Cholesterol accumulates inside your blood
vessels which ends up getting clogged. When these vessels get clogged, plaques form which cause the atherosclerosis. (Peters Et al, 2016) There are
two main forms of cholesterol, which are low density lipoproteins (LDL) and high density lipoproteins (HDL). LDL is considered the bad cholesterol
because it contributes to the plaque formation (CDC, 2016). Controlling your levels of bad cholesterol is key. One important way to control these
levels would be maintaining a balanced diet. There are many food sources that help maintain a healthy level of serum cholesterol, such as eating a

slower uptake of cholesterol in the intestines and the increased bile acid helps reduce the cholesterol levels circulating in the blood (Gale, 2015). So,

Unsaturated fatty acids are characterized with having at least one carbon double bonded with another carbon, losing the normal bond with hydrogen
and the corresponding hydrogen. The number of double bonds, hydrogens, and carbons differ in structure of different types of fatty acids and cause the
difference in function between the fatty acids. But even though most fatty acids are different from each other due to structure and function, all
unsaturated fatty acids do have some things in common. They all enter the cell via the membrane and increase the fluidity of the plasma membrane,
increasing overall cell health, and they all form unsaturated fats [3]. Unsaturated fats are made up of many different strands of different types of fatty
acid. The type of unsaturated fatty acid I will be talking about today is an omega–3 fatty acid made up of three different types of fatty

Overview of Different Types of Diets
Diets are becoming a type of lifestyle for individuals looking to lose weight or searching to maintain a healthier lifestyle. However, besides the ability
to control what an individual eats, there also need to be other considerations taken into account. According to the Food and Nutrition Board of the
National Academy of Sciences, in order for a person to maintain a healthy body composition, 10%–35% of a person's daily calories should be derived
from protein, 45%–65% are to come from carbohydrates, and 20%–35% of the daily calories should come from fat (Wardlaw, Smith, & Anne, 16). The
body needs a minimum amount of these sources of nutrients in order to sustain itself. Simple sugars, carbohydrates with a high glycemic index,
and fats that promote the rise in LDL cholesterol levels, should all be avoided. Monosaccharaides are easily broken down by the body. Because
there is little nutritional value in these, they have a high glycemic index (Wardlaw, Smith, and Anne, 142). These means that since they are digested
so rapidly, the body uses up the energy a lot faster and starts to believe that it is in a state of starvation. This will then lead to the rapid conversion
of the simple sugars or simple carbohydrates to fat storage, so that the body is prepared for the next time a starvation event occurs (Wardlaw, Smith,
and Anne, 126). Those foods with a low glycemic index are more complicated to breakdown, so they require more time. This allows the body to stay
satisfied for a

Trans Fat Research Paper
My passion for nutrition is greatly entangled with chemistry. All food is made up of molecules. The chemical structure is important, and the way a
molecule interacts with other molecules sheds light on how and why our bodies function the way they do, especially in regards to nutrition. Trans fats
are a good example of the necessary understanding of chemical structure, without this knowledge the effects of trans fats on the body would not be
understood. Trans fats have no nutritional value and are harmful to the body even in small quantities. There are three things that are imperative to
understand when looking at trans fats from a nutritional stand point: what are trans fats, why are trans fats so bad for you, and how to avoid trans fats....

The body needs fat to function, they serve many different purposes. Fifty percent of the cell wall is made up of saturated fat.(Stevenson) Trans fats
are bad for several reasons. First of all, a saturated fat molecule compared to a unsaturated fat molecule that is a trans fat, have the same chemical
makeup, and this is a major problem with the way the body uses trans fats. Because they are so similar, trans fats can take the place of saturated fats
in the cell wall. Cell walls are porous, they take in nutrients and expel waste or toxins. When trans fats take the place of saturated fats in the cell wall,
because of the placement of the double bonds on the polar ends, this makes the molecule not want to cooperate with other molecules. This leads to gaps
in the cell wall which allow toxins to penetrate into the cell. Another problem that happens when trans fat molecules replace saturated fat molecules is
typical cell communication is disrupted, this can cause nutrients to not be taken into the cell and toxins to be trapped inside the cell, and can lead to an
unbalanced metabolism. Abnormal cell communication also effects hormone signals and reflexes, which can instigate the body to overproduce
adrenaline, and in turn lead to adrenal fatigue and even a non–functioning thyroid. (Benson) Trans fats have a very negative effect on the cardiovascular
system as well. This type of fat increases the production of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides which clog and cause the narrowing of the arteries, and
they lower HDL cholesterol, the good cholesterol. Also, in addition to all the adverse effects trans fat have on the body, they are difficult to digest and
in turn they cause inflammation. Inflammation can wreak havoc on the body and cause multiple diseases. ("Dietician to

The type of Iron the body takes in can prevent the intoxication of Iron. High levels Heme Iron, found in animals and their by–products, can harm the
body and increase the chance of chronic diseases. Nonheme Iron, found in plant–based diets, is healthy even in overconsumption. The intake of
vitamins and nutrients in the body is absorbed through one way: fats (Truesdell). When fat is carried into the body's digestive system, it is broken
down in the small intestine into lipids that are then broken down into amino acids. The problem that has risen in western diets is the type and amount
of fat an American consumes. The type of fat found in animal products is saturated, which means that the fat molecule has no chemical that can break
down the fat (Disabled). Because of the body unable to breakdown these fats, saturated fats is a main culprit to the increased amount of chronic
diseases. People should not eliminate all fat from the body or else they can be as malnourished as someone who overuses those fats. Instead, foods,
like plants and grain oils, have amounts of unsaturated fat that are good for the body's nourishment in vitamins and are easy to break down through the

Argumentative Essay On Drinking Milk
You always hear your mom or dad say, "Drink your milk, so you can get stronger!" but is milk really making you strong, or is it actually hurting
you? Scientists say, Dairy consumption can play a role in asthma, Parkinson's disease, and highly elevated blood pressure. Dairy is highly
inflammatory, causing issues like bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, and acne. When you drink milk, you are actually consuming far more than
just milk. American dairy farmers have long been injecting cows with a genetically engineered bovine growth hormone called rBGH to increase
milk production(MindBodyGreen), So what are you really putting in your body that according to your parents makes you "Big and Strong"? In this
paper, I tell you the truth about the three most common dairy products that just might leave you speechless. Dairy consumption can lead to fatal

Protein Requirements : The Building Blocks Of Every Single...
Although protein requirements are far less than that of carbohydrates, it in no way reflects its importance. Protein is literally the building blocks of
every single muscle fiber within the human body. Protein is broken down into amino acids that continuously attach to one another creating long
chains. These long chains are know as the building blocks of muscles. Protein contributes to more than simply repairing and growing muscles, it also
plays roles in hormone regulation, immune system functionality as well as supplying the body with small amounts of energy. As recommended, I
want your diet to consist of 30% protein. This will ensure you are providing your body with enough protein to at minimum preserve lean mass as
well as potentially develop depending out the physical exertion put in. It is recommended that this portion of protein comes from a variety of sources.

Effects Of Obesity On The Health Field
Obesity Etiologies
During the last few centuries, humans' lives have witnessed a lot of development in various fields. As a result, the change in these fields was
reflected on the way humans live their life. One of these fields is health field. Health field had been developing at a miraculous rate. Up until
recently, Obesity was regarded to be an overweight; nevertheless, American Medical Association deliberated that Obesity is a chronic disease as a
consequence of detrimental life style, biological factors, and environmental and psychological factors. The first etiology of obesity is the detrimental
lifestyle of the individual. Each individual has his own lifestyle. Some people tend to have a healthy lifestyle and other have a baneful life style. As a
result, the baneful lifestyle will induce the establishment of disorders. First, physical exercise inadequacy will induce the accumulation of Proteins,
Carbohydrates, and Lipids in the Liver which will metabolize these macromolecules into Fats and stores them in the cutaneous layer of the skin in the
form of Adipose tissue. Increment of Adipose tissue will contribute in the physical shape deformity. The deformation of the physical shape is known as
Obesity i.e. excessive body fat. Second, the unbalanced consumption of foods and unhealthy foods. The unbalanced food diet is one of the most
common etiologies of Obesity. To illustrate, many people consume a lot of food that has a high percent of Carbohydrates and

Calorime Analysis Lab

  • 1. Calorime Analysis Lab A busy and changing schedule has proven to create an unbalanced diet and exercise routine. The BMI found was 21 for a height of 5'7", and weight of 135Ibs. However, this does not represent an insufficient sodium intake. The average intake of 1,748.7mg (Table 4) was found. The amount of calories from fat taken in, which is 35.88% on average, is also slightly above what is recommended. The recommended amount is 20–30% (Table 4). The following formula was used to determine the percent of fat from calories: % of Calories from Fat=(Fat (gm) Г— 9 kcalgmCalories (kcal))Г— 100 One gram of fat is equivalent to nine calories. It was found to be slightly below average. The blood pressure was 72.5/115.5mmHg, on average. A person should aim to have a blood pressure of 80/120mmHg. It can be normal for some people to have a lower pressure. This was measured using a sphygmomanometer wrapped and pumped around the upper arm, and a stethoscope is then placed below the wrap on top of the brachial artery on the inside curve of the elbow. Two fingers were placed above/near the carotid artery and the pulsations per minute were counted. This determines the heart rate. On average, the heart rate found was ... The nutrients needed in the human diet are amino acids, fatty acids, minerals, vitamins and water. Metabolic fuel is often supplied from carbohydrates and fats, which are almost, always present in human diets but specific carbohydrates are not essential. * Metabolic fuel can also be supplied from proteins. Chemical energy is all the fuels are transferred into a required movement/action (contracting muscle) by respiration. * Combined nitrogen required for the building of proteins. They cause an increase in the rate of energy production (aka basal rate of metabolism). Iodine deficiency common in many countries since most food normally have little iodine. Sea food good source of iodine. If not added to the diet people develop swelling of thyroid glands, this causing goite. + in pregnant women can cause the child to be born with brain damage. Highest rates found in countries where little iodine is present in soil (so crops) and drinking water. Iodine deficiency can be prevented by the addition of salt. Vitamin addition to diet There is an increase in dietary supplements, specifically vitamin pills. However, little evidence of effectiveness. The use of vitamins is mainly popular in competitive athletes ad elderly, who are concerned about their decreasing health. But, they are also used when an individual lacks a specific mineral or vitamin. Multivitamin capsules contain the recommended quantity of each vitamin. But, once the body is saturated with the required vitamins, excess vitamins can accumulate. Many vitamins are water–soluble and any excess is quickly excreted, but vitamins, which are not soluble, they accumulate can toxic does build up. Energy in human diet Energy content

(http: //www.dictionary.com) In kitchen chemistry today, there are many types of food molecules such as minerals, vitamins, fiber, and water. But there are four molecules that people refer to as food, also known as the four basic food molecules, which can be used to produce energy which are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and alcohol which is not considered a basic nutritional component of food. Carbs that are composed of monosaccharide's break down under hydrolysis which can also be classified under disaccharides, oligosaccharides, or polysaccharides, depending on how many monosaccharide units are present. Carbs can also be called simple or complex carbohydrates but this depends on their chemical structure. Simple carbohydrates only include sugars that are found in foods like fruits, vegetables, milk, and milk products. They also include sugars that are added during food processing and refining. Complex carbohydrates include whole grain breads and cereals, and starchy vegetables such as green beans, broccoli, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, mushrooms, or celery which are also good sources of fiber. Last, we have vitamins. These are organic compounds that are essential in our diet. They fall into two categories and those categories are fat soluble and water soluble. The fat–soluble vitamins, Vitamins A, D, E, & K all dissolve in fat and can be stored in your body. The water soluble vitamins which are vitamin B & C need to be dissolved in water before your body can absorb them. Because of this, people's bodies can't store these vitamins and any B or C vitamin that your body doesn't is lost. So it is highly recommended that you have these vitamins every day. • 5. Food Pyramid Research Paper Late eighties, Food Guide Pyramid's process began by the United States Department of Agriculture. They introduced it in 1992. The guideline was based on bread, cereal, rice, and pasta. And they added a plenty of low–fat foods in the guideline caused on decreasing heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. And companies reengineered products to low–fat and fat–free. Unfortunately, following diet has not helped us to lose weight or decrease disease. A fat we carry around has useful functions. It stores energy for future use, produces important chemicals, builds cell membranes and neutral structures, provides padding, insulates against cold, supplies fuel, and supports your immune system. We have believed low–fat food is healthy for us for twenty years because of the advertisement of the low–fat foods such as Food Guide Pyramid and other advertisement from companies. Also it seems like we are targeted by Fast Food Industries because low–fat is much chipper than natural fats. Moreover, the guideline effected harm. Instead of becoming healthier, people became fatter, and heart disease continued to climb along with Type 2 diabetes. They replaced meats and fats with carbohydrates (including sugars, such as table sugar and corn syrup; starchy foods such as potatoes and rice; foods made with grains). • 6. The Oppression Of Fat People In America The Oppression of Fat People in America Fat does not equal lazy; fat does not equal bad; fat does not equal overeating; fat does not equal ugly. Fat oppression is something so prevalent in our society, yet Americans refuse to recognize it as a problem or even an issue. After hearing an amazing woman named Nomy Lamm speak this weekend, I could not longer let this issue be ignored. (Lamm is a fat oppression activist and has been published in Ms. magazine). Fat oppression exists in this society and we all must recognize the damage it does to everyone, especially fat people. Fat is not a bad word. I use the word fat just as I would use the words short, tall or blonde. The only thing wrong with the word fat is the manner in which it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the 60s, doctors used such arcane surgeries as stomach stapling and intestinal bypass to curb the "problem" of fatness. Now, we have a million diets which admittedly can make people skinny for a while but eventually leave them fatter than they were initially. Because the body, and the heart specifically, is forced to deal with differing body sizes, various medical problems occur. While many will tell you being fat is bad for one's health, a fat person dieting and then getting fat again is much worse. The entire process is futile because body size is generally predetermined before birth. Why is it that "obese" people can eat only 800 calories a day and still gain weight? Why is it I can eat junk food all day and not gain weight and some of my fat friends can be vegan and still remain fat? Fat is not a new phenomenon only Americans encounter, and contrary to popular opinion, America is not the fattest country in the world. Fat is prevalent everywhere; it is just in this country that people treat it like it is the undesirable exception rather than the accepted norm. And please don't tell me fat people aren't oppressed in our society. My friend went on her first diet at age 7 and has been body–conscious ever since. It isn't fat people who decide they don't like their bodies – it is because America has taught them to hate their bodies (I don't mean to dismiss those fat people who do love their ... Participants from cohort studies has high risk for cardiac disease, but those who had a higher consumption of nuts and exercised consistently were more likely to have lower c–reactive protein and IL–6 concentrations (5). They ate higher amount of nuts because they replaced red meats, processed meats, and refined grains with nuts. In this study, inflammation caused by diet and telomere length were evaluated with those who have a high risk of heart disease. With the use of the dietary inflammatory index, they looked to see the association between diet–related inflammation and telomere length. Telomere length affects how our cells age, and if they shorten, then it will shorten one's life as well as makine one more susceptible to disease. This study was a cross– sectional and longitudinal study that resulted in a consistent beneficial effect with aging and health when consuming a anti–inflammatory diet (7). The beneficial effects were that it changed their telomere length. Anti–inflammatory diets they included were Mediterranean diets supplemented with olive oil, and Mediterranean diets supplemented with mixed nuts. The control group was on a low fat diet. This study also showed that a proinflammatory diet can affect a person telomere length by drastically shortening it (7). More specifically, proinflammatory foods include fried foods, refined carbohydrates, and sugar and anti–inflammatory foods include vegetables like kale/spinach, fruits like tomatoes/blueberries, fatty fish, and nuts. In recent years it has seemed that the media, and society in general are praising unrealistic beauty standards and claiming them to be ideal. Any person can take a quick look in a magazine, on the internet, or on television and see any number of pictures of people with extreme features that society claims make them superior. This has made an impact on today's generation in such an extreme manner that "80% of 10–year–old girls have dieted and 90% of high school junior and senior women diet regularly." (Photoshop). Last week a comedian named Nicole Arbour released a video on her youtube channel titled "Dear Fat People". The video has over 4 million views in just over 7 days. According to Boston's NPR news section it is one of the "top social media scandals of the year". Nicole Arbour's youtube channel is most popular for her "video rants" as well as other videos she has made in attempt at comedy. In "Dear Fat People" she talks about a matter of issues she feels "fat people " should work on. She claims that fat people get special treatment that an average weighted person does not. She gives an example that she felt a common person could relate to. She says that in security lines in airports, people who are fat get to cut the line and security checks them first. This proves to one of her major points in making the video. She says that her video is not shame fat people but to encourage them to lose weight (Schlack). "Fat shaming is not a thing; fat people made that up. That's the race card, with no race." She ended her video with some advice saying that if you want to end your weight issues "put down the oreos". People by nature judge their surroundings. It is something all living organisms do, judging people, food, as well as anything else is vital to survival, but the weight of a person is not a factor in determining the quality of a human being. The media has helped project different stereotypes onto people and it is hard for some people to overcome them. A survey in Teen People Magazine in 2014 showed that over 50% of teenagers assumed that being fat was a sign of laziness, and 45% of the participants also said that "fat people smell bad and do not care about their bodies" (Schlack). It does not just go in way, as skinny shaming has become a problem too. It seems that no matter the body a person can be given, there will always be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Essay On Ablooproteinemia Abetalipoproteinemia (ABL) is a rare inherited disorder affecting fat metabolism. Abnormal fat metabolism prevents the body from completely absorbing dietary fats, cholesterol, and fat–soluble vitamins. Without treatment, people affected by this disorder can experience progressive neurological deterioration, muscle weakness, difficulty walking, and blood abnormalities in which the red blood cells deform resulting in low levels of circulating red blood cells (anemia). Dietary fats and vitamins are essential for proper growth and development of various body systems. Consequently, degeneration of the retina of the eyes may also occur in affected people. This can potentially result in loss of vision, a condition known as retinitis pigmentosa. This disorder is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait and is caused by mutations in the microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTTP) gene. Beta–lipoprotein that work to carry fats and cholesterol in the blood is missing due to the MTTP gene mutations. The MTTP gene provides instructions for making microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, which is essential for creating beta–lipoproteins. The mutations in this gene lead to abnormally short microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, causing the nutritional and neurological problems. Carbohydrates can be classified into two different classifications as sugars (monosaccharides and oligosaccharides) and non–sugars or polysaccharides according to its chemical structure. The whole classification of carbohydrates can be classified as follows. Monosaccharides are mostly common five–carbon or six–carbon poly hydroxyl ketones and aldehydes. Monosaccharides can be also called as simplest sugar such as glucose, galactose and fructose. Two monosaccharides are able to join together in condensation reactions by using glycosidic linkage to from disaccharides. Maltose, lactose and fructose are the examples of disaccharides. The most complex form of the sugars are polysaccharides and they contain many monosaccharides connected through glycosidic linkage. Both disaccharides and polysaccharides do hydrolysis to produce components of monosaccharides which be absorbed by the body. The glucose is the primary source of energy and it's the simple sugar body prefers. When glucose enters the body, body stimulates pancreas to produce insulin. Dieting Makes People Fat Dieting Makes People Fat Introduction/Claim Research has demonstrated that dieting, or the intention to restrict one's food intake, does not work and quite remarkably, works against the individual ultimately making them gain rather than lose weight. A new study relates that dieting serves to raise the levels of hormones that stimulate the individual's appetite resulting in the brain magnifying food cravings. The Research/Data The Work of Carver (2012) entitled "Does Dieting Make People Ft" relates "The human body is scheduled to detect hunger signals and not to diet. When we deny our bodies food, they sense that there is a risk of starvation and as a result, the hunger increases forcing the body metabolism to slow down so as to compensate for it. Once one engages in dieting, the mind overdrives, forcing the individual to eat more than usual to cover up the deprivation just suffered. This is how the body prepares itself for an emergency of famine. By the end of the whole process, one eats more than before the dieting to soothe the body and emotions (Cannon & Einzig, 1983)." (p.1) Carver additionally relates, "Most diets fail due to wrong focus. They promise big things in a very short duration to attract customers. By one trying to lose a lot of weight very fast, they expose their bodies to disarray that can worsen to shock. In most cases, these people lose weight but temporarily. Lipids, like triglycerides are stored in the adipocytes until ready to be used by the body for energy.Fat is broken down through metabolism in the mitochondria of the cell. Polar molecules have difficulty passing thru the hydrophilic membrane. Nonpolar molecules however, easily pass thru. The proteins can be integral proteins, meaning they go all the way through the lipid bilayer or peripheral proteins that sit on the hydrophilic outer layer and wait for something to happen. The layers are somewhat fluid, allowing the proteins to move across them. See diagram below. No fat diets can actually do more harm than good. The body needs moderation of all energy producing macronutrients; fats, carbohydrates and proteins. By not eating any fat, the body starts to utilize the fats stored in the body, thus depleting the stores and people lose weight. However, once those stores are gone, the good fats or HDL's, are no longer able to filter out the bad cholesterol. This can lead to increased cholesterol levels in the blood and heart disease. The Keto Diet And How It Affects The Body Essay Aidan McAllister Mrs. Willard Honors Bio 16 November 2016 The Keto Diet And How It Affects The Body The keto diet is a diet that specializes in burning fat. The way it works is when you only take in fats then your body will be forced to burn the fat instead of carbs. My brother has been doing this diet for almost a year now and has lost a bunch of weight because of it. Some food that are in the restrictions include cheeses, red meats, vegetables, and some fruit that don't have a lot of sugars. This diet has many uses and is a very interesting thing to study. Ketosis is a metabolic state in which the liver produces ketone. When it comes to energy production, fat is actually required. Fatty acids are broken down by the liver to beta–hydroxybutyrate and acetoacetate. When it comes down to the krebs cycle, B–OHB is brought into the mitochondria and is converted into acetoacetate which is broken down into acetoacetyl CoA. This is then further broken down into acetyl CoA and this is what is used in the Krebs cycle. When ketone bodies are added to the glucose in the Krebs cycle it increases the metabolic efficiency. A human can survive on fat way longer than a human can survive on glucose and protein. Because I am interested in village medicine in Alaska as a career, and my majors are Biochemistry and Environmental and Outdoor Education, I will detail the effects of seal oil. I am going to discuss how the structure of seal oil and unsaturated ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Unsaturated fatty acids are characterized with having at least one carbon double bonded with another carbon, losing the normal bond with hydrogen and the corresponding hydrogen. The number of double bonds, hydrogens, and carbons differ in structure of different types of fatty acids and cause the difference in function between the fatty acids. But even though most fatty acids are different from each other due to structure and function, all unsaturated fatty acids do have some things in common. They all enter the cell via the membrane and increase the fluidity of the plasma membrane, increasing overall cell health, and they all form unsaturated fats [3]. Unsaturated fats are made up of many different strands of different types of fatty acid. The type of unsaturated fatty acid I will be talking about today is an omega–3 fatty acid made up of three different types of fatty ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 30. Overview of Different Types of Diets Diets are becoming a type of lifestyle for individuals looking to lose weight or searching to maintain a healthier lifestyle. However, besides the ability to control what an individual eats, there also need to be other considerations taken into account. According to the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Academy of Sciences, in order for a person to maintain a healthy body composition, 10%–35% of a person's daily calories should be derived from protein, 45%–65% are to come from carbohydrates, and 20%–35% of the daily calories should come from fat (Wardlaw, Smith, & Anne, 16). The body needs a minimum amount of these sources of nutrients in order to sustain itself. Simple sugars, carbohydrates with a high glycemic index, and fats that promote the rise in LDL cholesterol levels, should all be avoided. Monosaccharaides are easily broken down by the body. Because there is little nutritional value in these, they have a high glycemic index (Wardlaw, Smith, and Anne, 142). These means that since they are digested so rapidly, the body uses up the energy a lot faster and starts to believe that it is in a state of starvation. This will then lead to the rapid conversion of the simple sugars or simple carbohydrates to fat storage, so that the body is prepared for the next time a starvation event occurs (Wardlaw, Smith, and Anne, 126). Those foods with a low glycemic index are more complicated to breakdown, so they require more time. This allows the body to stay satisfied for a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 32. Trans Fat Research Paper My passion for nutrition is greatly entangled with chemistry. All food is made up of molecules. The chemical structure is important, and the way a molecule interacts with other molecules sheds light on how and why our bodies function the way they do, especially in regards to nutrition. Trans fats are a good example of the necessary understanding of chemical structure, without this knowledge the effects of trans fats on the body would not be understood. Trans fats have no nutritional value and are harmful to the body even in small quantities. There are three things that are imperative to understand when looking at trans fats from a nutritional stand point: what are trans fats, why are trans fats so bad for you, and how to avoid trans fats.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The body needs fat to function, they serve many different purposes. Fifty percent of the cell wall is made up of saturated fat.(Stevenson) Trans fats are bad for several reasons. First of all, a saturated fat molecule compared to a unsaturated fat molecule that is a trans fat, have the same chemical makeup, and this is a major problem with the way the body uses trans fats. Because they are so similar, trans fats can take the place of saturated fats in the cell wall. Cell walls are porous, they take in nutrients and expel waste or toxins. When trans fats take the place of saturated fats in the cell wall, because of the placement of the double bonds on the polar ends, this makes the molecule not want to cooperate with other molecules. This leads to gaps in the cell wall which allow toxins to penetrate into the cell. Another problem that happens when trans fat molecules replace saturated fat molecules is typical cell communication is disrupted, this can cause nutrients to not be taken into the cell and toxins to be trapped inside the cell, and can lead to an unbalanced metabolism. Abnormal cell communication also effects hormone signals and reflexes, which can instigate the body to overproduce adrenaline, and in turn lead to adrenal fatigue and even a non–functioning thyroid. (Benson) Trans fats have a very negative effect on the cardiovascular system as well. This type of fat increases the production of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides which clog and cause the narrowing of the arteries, and they lower HDL cholesterol, the good cholesterol. Also, in addition to all the adverse effects trans fat have on the body, they are difficult to digest and in turn they cause inflammation. Inflammation can wreak havoc on the body and cause multiple diseases. ("Dietician to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

High levels Heme Iron, found in animals and their by–products, can harm the body and increase the chance of chronic diseases. Nonheme Iron, found in plant–based diets, is healthy even in overconsumption. The intake of vitamins and nutrients in the body is absorbed through one way: fats (Truesdell). When fat is carried into the body's digestive system, it is broken down in the small intestine into lipids that are then broken down into amino acids. The problem that has risen in western diets is the type and amount of fat an American consumes. The type of fat found in animal products is saturated, which means that the fat molecule has no chemical that can break down the fat (Disabled). Because of the body unable to breakdown these fats, saturated fats is a main culprit to the increased amount of chronic diseases. People should not eliminate all fat from the body or else they can be as malnourished as someone who overuses those fats. Instead, foods, like plants and grain oils, have amounts of unsaturated fat that are good for the body's nourishment in vitamins and are easy to break down through the digestive process (Truesdell). • 37. Argumentative Essay On Drinking Milk You always hear your mom or dad say, "Drink your milk, so you can get stronger!" but is milk really making you strong, or is it actually hurting you? Scientists say, Dairy consumption can play a role in asthma, Parkinson's disease, and highly elevated blood pressure. Dairy is highly inflammatory, causing issues like bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, and acne. When you drink milk, you are actually consuming far more than just milk. American dairy farmers have long been injecting cows with a genetically engineered bovine growth hormone called rBGH to increase milk production(MindBodyGreen), So what are you really putting in your body that according to your parents makes you "Big and Strong"? In this paper, I tell you the truth about the three most common dairy products that just might leave you speechless. Dairy consumption can lead to fatal diseases. The average amount of serving you pay per gallon is 25 cents. Why are you paying that if it's so unhealthy? Over the years, scientist and nutritionist have created lactose free, dairy free, and soy free milk. A popular brand that we often consume is Silk. It's free of all of soy, lactose, and dairy. Milk isn't unhealthy, in fact milk is very healthy, but the dairy in the milk isn't. Sources of carbs include fruits, breads and grains, vegetables and sugars. You should try and make at least half of the grains you consume whole grains. Whole grains and fruit are full of fiber, which reduces the risk of heart disease and helps keep normal blood glucose levels. Protein is responsible for the building and repair of body tissues. Protein is broken down into amino acids, which are used as building blocks of protein. Nine of the 20 amino acids, essential amino acids, must be put into your diet because they cant blend in the body. Ten to 35 percent of your daily calories should come from protein sources such as meat, dairy, beans or eggs. • 39. Protein Requirements : The Building Blocks Of Every Single... Although protein requirements are far less than that of carbohydrates, it in no way reflects its importance. Protein is literally the building blocks of every single muscle fiber within the human body. Protein is broken down into amino acids that continuously attach to one another creating long chains. These long chains are know as the building blocks of muscles. Protein contributes to more than simply repairing and growing muscles, it also plays roles in hormone regulation, immune system functionality as well as supplying the body with small amounts of energy. As recommended, I want your diet to consist of 30% protein. This will ensure you are providing your body with enough protein to at minimum preserve lean mass as well as potentially develop depending out the physical exertion put in. It is recommended that this portion of protein comes from a variety of sources. Reflecting previous words, it is important to include many different protein sources. This will include both lean and fatty cold water fish, preferably leaner cuts of beef in order to reduce saturated fat intake, lean and skinless poultry sources as well as nuts, seeds, legumes, and low fat dairy products. Protein sources must be approached with caution, they often contain dense amounts of both wanted and unwanted fats. So it is recommended that you carefully choose your protein sources, which should include two servings of a cold water fish per week to obtain the essential fatty acid, omega 3, which will ... As a result, the change in these fields was reflected on the way humans live their life. One of these fields is health field. Health field had been developing at a miraculous rate. Up until recently, Obesity was regarded to be an overweight; nevertheless, American Medical Association deliberated that Obesity is a chronic disease as a consequence of detrimental life style, biological factors, and environmental and psychological factors. The first etiology of obesity is the detrimental lifestyle of the individual. Each individual has his own lifestyle. Some people tend to have a healthy lifestyle and other have a baneful life style. As a result, the baneful lifestyle will induce the establishment of disorders. First, physical exercise inadequacy will induce the accumulation of Proteins, Carbohydrates, and Lipids in the Liver which will metabolize these macromolecules into Fats and stores them in the cutaneous layer of the skin in the form of Adipose tissue. Increment of Adipose tissue will contribute in the physical shape deformity. The deformation of the physical shape is known as Obesity i.e. excessive body fat.
