So my topic is an art exhibit in Singapore and this is the
National Gallery Singapore and this is the ArtScience
Museum at Marina Bay Sands
● The name of this exhibit is Minimalism: Space. Light. Object.
● This is a five-month exhibition, which runs until April 14 next
year brings about 150 works by more than 80 artists and 40
composers in two different places: the National Gallery
Singapore and the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands
● This is a picture of one of the works called Cargo
● Aims to represent the relationship of Minimalism to art in
Asia, as well as the influence that Asian spirituality and
philosophy had on the movement’s origins
● Visitors can come here to see the development of Minimalist
art and ideas from the 1950s to the present
● Here is another work called Ai Weiwei’s Ton of tea
