Introduction
 Data logger (data recorder) is an electronic device that
record data over time in relation to location either with
a built in instrument or sensor or via external
instruments and sensors. Increasingly, but not entirely,
they are based on a digital processor (or computer).
 Generally is small, battery powered, portable and
equipped with a microprocessor, internal memory for
data storage and sensors.
ENGAGE
One day, Qistyn decide to do some exercise
and her friend Zeaty only sitting under the
tree by enjoy the beautiful scenery. After
that, Qistyn notice that her heart beat,
beating rapidly. Why this situation
happened? Explain……

(DISCUSSION)
 What can you see the differences between
the person who is doesn’t do any activities
and the person does the activity?
 How about their pattern of heart rate?
 Why does the heart beat move rapidly
during doing activity?
 Does the activity effect the heart beat?
 What the other factor that can make your
heart beat differ from normal?
EMPOWER ( ANSWER)
 Based on the graph results, the heart beat rate of the person not doing
activities is maintain while for the person that doing activities it heart rate is
increase and decrease.
 The pattern of non exercise heart beat is constant and for the exercise it has
bell shape.
 When exercising muscles will require nutrients and elimination of waste
products constantly at the same time so, to meet this demand the heart must
rapidly increase the rate at which it beats and pushes blood through the body.
 Yes
 Healthy, medication, age, weight, body temperature and glycogen level.
ENHANCE
• Why the extreme activity such as bungee
jumping, kayak and skydiving make our
heart beat more than walking activities?
CONCLUSION
 Data logger software is very quick and easy to set up
 The data is more accurate and precise because there is no
error
 Data logger can be carried out anytime
 Graphs and tables of results can be produced automatically
by the data logging software
