PROFILE
I am an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking professional, working within the construction industry as
a Project Manager for Balfour Beatty on AWE Aldermaston and currently at Capenhurst Nuclear
facility in Cheshire. I have been in the industry for over 40 years, having served my CITB
apprenticeship. I have vast experience with on-site installations as well as project and contract
management skills, together with estimating and design works with training to the highest standards.
I am also responsible for ensuring quality and safety is executed to the highest standards, making sure
company and client standards are constantly achieved. I work extremely well with individuals from all

I have a vast experience in the industry, working on complex projects in secure environments.
Management, technical and practical experience in all aspects of electrical installation and
decommissioning works including fast track projects ranging from £50k to £69m
In recent years, I became increasingly involved in the management of multi-discipline trades and not
just electrical installations with my latest role being project management making me responsible for all

Project manager on a new build £69m contract for URENCO nuclear Facility,electrical installation and
instrumentation works.Constuction stage with contract of 8no new buildings we are currently working
in 3 no Buildings.
(AWE Aldermaston) January 2014 – March 2015
Project Manager on a framework contract for management supply and installation of electrical,
mechanical and civil engineering works including testing and commissioning across various projects.

Taken on a project manager to control a contract to the value of one million pouind. DP world was the
biggest construction site in Europe. The contract included new buildings for the Border Agency. Works

Electrical contracts manager responsible for the control of labour, materials. I was also responsible for
entire contracts from initial start-up to final account closure. I was directly involved in the paperwork
elements of the project, producing risk and method statements whilst also producing and managing
programmes and progress reports.

Project management in various commercial environment works, including largest BMW dealership in
Europe. I was also involved in a multi-million pound compost facility for Veoli, liaising with both
contractors and clients, managing design issues and controlling site staff as well as ensuring target

book, part of heating company ,originally took on 78 operatives all works within industrial commercial

a few,left due to no assistance from other directors and they were only interested in domestic
work.Obtained NICEIC Status.
Project Engineer /Contracts Manager – H&M Electrical Services/Newbould Electrical Services
(Various Projects) 1987 - 1995
Mainly industrial type major works with British Sugar, Water Authorities, Tate and Lyle and Effluent
Plants throughout country and Jersey. I also did work within automotive industry with Toyota, Nissan,
Ford, British Leyland and Honda.

I was responsible for all electrical installation works for new headquarters for Saudi government
mineral resources value 5 million pound, material take offs, procurement of site labour, design,
