5. Our topics for ALA presentation
1) First Law Of Thermodynamics
2) Second Law Of Thermodynamics
3) Zeroth Law
6. FIRST LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS
-> The energy can neither be created nor can
be destroyed but can be converted into one
form from another.
-> This law is also known as Law Of
Conservation Of Energy.
9. SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS
-> The second law of thermodynamics states that
the total entropy of an isolated system always
increases over time, or remains constant in ideal
cases where the system is in a steady state or
undergoing a reversible process.
10. EXAMPLES BASED ON THE SECOND LAW
OF THERMODYNAMICS
-> Thermal energy flow from higher
temperature to lower temperature.
11. ZEROTH LAW
-> If body A and body B are in thermal
equilibrium with body C, then body A and
body B has to be in thermal equilibrium with
each other.
12. EXAMPLES BASED ON ZEROTH LAW
-> If the temperature of tea A and also the
temperature of coffee C is in thermal equilibrium
with the temperature of environment B, then the
temperatures of tea A and coffee C are in thermal
equilibrium.
