This part focuses on the cultural diversity within an
organization set up. In the job applicants, a successful person
should be the one who can handle, learn and be ready to accept
the new cultural environment within the firm`s working
environment. Yemen culture is the one to be considered.
Adaptation, learning, and identification all help in to decode
new cultures in the novel as it contributes to developing
transformative experience. A leader should develop such skills
to assist him in analyzing and learning to acclimatize to new
environments and cultures. The use of the multicultural
experiences helps in making the world creative, and innovative.

Culture plays a vital role in the success of the business.
Businesses are always set up in communities with different
cultures, and they need the firm to adapt and work towards
observing such habits and following the traditions. The leader
should now make an effort to learn and appreciate different
cultures, and cultural adaptability has become a leadership
imperative. For example, one needs to adapt to the world by
learning different foreign languages suitable for work
performance improvements like Robert McDonald, chief
operating officer of the Procter & Gamble Company, who has
learned several languages outside America.
Personal adaptability is also crucial in leadership performance.
Adaptability is well developed through, considering what
mental scripts are, differentiating observations from inferences,
doing habitual insist, and analyzing what the successors can do
in the industry. The level of adaptability is assessed through,
openness to new ideas, adapting a change strategy, specific
adaptations, and handling of unexpected demands. Brown,
Hallenbeck, Baird, (2009)

Having a new graduate come in and beat a highly qualified
employee out for the job can really affect the thinking of that
individual. The individual that was not chosen might feel
unappreciated and undervalued. When approaching the subject
of leadership challenges the first thing to point out is there
might be a lack in actual skill. Just because an individual is
book smart and graduated from an ivy league school does not
mean they are suited to run a department immediately following
graduation. According to a study done by Blanchard (n.d.),
respondents cited a lack of generic management skills, such as
problem solving, decision making, and consensus building, as a
source of ineffective leadership. With Artos lack of work
experience in the corporate world, it might be felt by her
subordinates that she does not have the necessary skills to lead.
Another leadership challenge me may face is because of her
age. People that are older than her might feel like they should
not listen to her because of her age. They might note that she
does not know anything because she has never been in the
workforce. Her age also puts her in that state where people feel
she cannot be much of a mentor, but creating a respectful and
inclusive environment where workers of all ages and cultural
backgrounds can share who they are without fear of being
judged or changed will go help bring everyone together (AMA,
n.d)

It assumes that leadership rests in individuals who must be
capable of inspiring and influencing others to solve problems
and achieve goals per the objectives of the organization such as
value creating. Greer, Melvin (2013). Leadership emergency in
the 21st century is holistic. It is concentrated on groups and
firms, rather than on people, and engages the group in heart,
spirit, and mind. The leaders should have the following
qualities:
First, current leaders should contribute some uniqueness. It
involves being original and to be original requires a leader to
think critically before making any adjustments and decision.
The leaders should take the time to read the new material and
think about it; he must have an original perspective on the
content, apply new knowledge in the analysis and synthesis of
the new material, and tell a different story about the new
elements and facts. Greer, Melvin (2013).
They should act effectively. Effectiveness involves doing the
right thing. It's not just about getting things done quickly or
even undertaking the most tasks in the shortest time possible.
Rather than doing a bunch of a busy routine, take the time to
formulate a vision and set priorities and objectives. Greer,
Melvin (2013).
Be resilient. In normal working conditions, everyone makes a
mistake in life. The more the tasks in the industry, the higher
the chances of making mistakes. The bigger the goals, the more
mistakes a leader will make. Being innovative means trying new
things and venturing where nobody has gone before. If you
want to have a memorable and long-term impact, you need to
take strategic risks, and that may mean failing. Greer, Melvin
(2013). The leaders should embrace change. A leader should
promote new performance techniques, technology and tactics for
performance improvement so that they can compete effectively.
They should have a global acumen. The leaders should have a
comprehensive and detailed view of the global business, global
leadership, and knowledge. They should act and consider gender
basis, cultural diversity, and external resources include
manpower for the firm to experience massive growth and
development. Brown, Hallenbeck, Baird, (2009)
They should have agility. It entails creativity, collaborative,
proactive learning from pre-knowledge that enables the leaders
to have a satisfactory performance. Leaders should be
innovative. It involves creative thinking while taking the
initiative of the calculated risk.
While trying to have improved organizational performance.
There are some challenges for the 21st-century leaders. They
include resistance to change by employees within the firm,
shortage of financial resources and internal politics within the
ranks. Brown, Hallenbeck, Baird, (2009).

In the job applicants, a successful person should be the one who can handle, learn and be ready to accept the new cultural environment within the firm`s working environment. Yemen culture is the one to be considered. Adaptation, learning, and identification all help in to decode new cultures in the novel as it contributes to developing transformative experience. A leader should develop such skills to assist him in analyzing and learning to acclimatize to new environments and cultures. The individual that was not chosen might feel unappreciated and undervalued. When approaching the subject of leadership challenges the first thing to point out is there might be a lack in actual skill. Just because an individual is book smart and graduated from an ivy league school does not mean they are suited to run a department immediately following graduation. According to a study done by Blanchard (n.d.), respondents cited a lack of generic management skills, such as problem solving, decision making, and consensus building, as a source of ineffective leadership. The leaders should have the following qualities: First, current leaders should contribute some uniqueness. It involves being original and to be original requires a leader to think critically before making any adjustments and decision. The leaders should take the time to read the new material and think about it; he must have an original perspective on the content, apply new knowledge in the analysis and synthesis of the new material, and tell a different story about the new elements and facts. Greer, Melvin (2013). They should act effectively. Effectiveness involves doing the right thing. It's not just about getting things done quickly or even undertaking the most tasks in the shortest time possible. Rather than doing a bunch of a busy routine, take the time to formulate a vision and set priorities and objectives. Greer, Melvin (2013). Be resilient. In normal working conditions, everyone makes a mistake in life. The more the tasks in the industry, the higher the chances of making mistakes. The bigger the goals, the more mistakes a leader will make. Being innovative means trying new things and venturing where nobody has gone before. If you want to have a memorable and long-term impact, you need to take strategic risks, and that may mean failing. Greer, Melvin (2013). The leaders should embrace change. A leader should promote new performance techniques, technology and tactics for performance improvement so that they can compete effectively.
  • 4. They should have a global acumen. The leaders should have a comprehensive and detailed view of the global business, global leadership, and knowledge. They should act and consider gender basis, cultural diversity, and external resources include manpower for the firm to experience massive growth and development. Brown, Hallenbeck, Baird, (2009) They should have agility. It entails creativity, collaborative, proactive learning from pre-knowledge that enables the leaders to have a satisfactory performance. Leaders should be innovative. It involves creative thinking while taking the initiative of the calculated risk. While trying to have improved organizational performance. There are some challenges for the 21st-century leaders. They include resistance to change by employees within the firm, shortage of financial resources and internal politics within the ranks. Brown, Hallenbeck, Baird, (2009).
