Discourse Markers - Discourse markers are words or phrases like anyway, right, Good, you know, as I say, I

Fillers :Fillers are unnecessary sounds or words that are inserted within our speech during a conversation.
For example, “um”, “like”, “uh”, “you know!” and “actually.”

Boosters - words or phrases used to indicate confidence, certainty.

Vague Expressions – words used when there is lack of surety.
6. “I've seen this movie a hundred times,”
Hyperbole - it is used to exaggerate something
A: I could not join you yesterday, I was tired after work, you know what I mean?
B: Yes I know what you mean.
Chunks - a group of words that can be found together in language.
That big house, is it where the doctor lives?
Headers – when we place the main topic (information) at the front of what we say (comment)
Is it where that doctor lives, that big house?
Tails – it refer back to a pronoun.
