1. BURCOMBE
FLOWER
FARM
Wedding Flowers
Thank you for your enquiry about
wedding flowers!
Grab a cuppa and have a read to find
out if Burcombe Flower Farm is the
right supplier for you. If so, then I’d
love to work with you.
2. PHILOSOPHY
SEASONAL, LOCAL
AND SUSTAINABLE
Burcombe Flower Farm specialises
in growing and selling British flowers
- the flowers I use are fresh, locally-
grown and seasonal. Almost all the
flowers and foliage are grown on my
parents’ farm or in my home cutting
patch. What’s blooming depends on
the weather and how the season is
progressing.
I know from experience that there is
ALWAYS something flowering. But if
you absolutely must have a specific
flower on your big day, then I’m
probably not the right supplier for
you. I can’t promise you something
that can only be guaranteed as an
import from Holland, but I can
promise you beautiful blooms in
your chosen colour-scheme. My
main flower season is between mid-
April and mid-October.
3. Are you crafty? Fancy having a go at flower arranging? Or
want to spend the day before the wedding with friends
and family creating? Then choose DIY buckets and enjoy
crafting something beautiful from carefully ‘curated’
flowers and foliage in your chosen colour scheme.
If you’d like me to make up your bouquets, buttonholes
and table decorations, and you’re quite happy to
collect them and display them at the venue, then this is
the option for you.
I SPECIALISE IN DIY WEDDINGS
OPTION 1 - DIY BUCKETS OPTION 2 - BOUQUETS AND
BUTTONHOLES
4. CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR SCHEME
I am constantly adding new things to my growing list, so every year is slightly different. But once you know your wedding date, I
can show you what was flowering at the same time in previous years, to give you a good idea of what might be looking good.
Selecting flowers to go with colour schemes is an art and I love it. I grow lots of varieties on the farm and in my cutting patch,
including things that you won’t find at a high street florist.

INFORMATION
Other things you
might want to
know….
I grow without chemicals.
I pick all the flowers early in the morning

them in water so they last longer; They
are picked to ensure the flowers are at
their very best for the time of your
wedding.
I like scent, and use lots of herbs in my
work. And I love whimsical movement, so
include grasses and seedheads to give
movement in displays.

best condition. They will be freshly
picked and look their best for the
