Terri Smith is the founder of Dimples & Dragonflies Studio & Gallery, operating out of her home studio in Bonaire, Georgia. She is launching an online store to sell her original artwork after leaving a gallery-dependent business. Her paintings depict simple pleasures of everyday life in the South, using high-quality materials to create pieces that will stand the test of time. She hopes her reasonable prices and heartfelt themes will uplift customers and be passed down for generations to enjoy.

1. Hello returning and new friends alike, and welcome. I’m Terri Smith, founder and resident-artist of Dimples & Dragonflies Studio & Gallery LLC. For ya’ll who I’ve yet to meet, I’m a born and bred Southern girl, currently operating my newly formed business, out of my small, but much-love home-studio in Bonaire, Georgia. Following a leap-of-faith departure from too-many-years of gallery-dependence, I’m on my own now. Offering what I hope will be a gratifying and positive online-experience for both you the new customer, as well as all my returning local-customers. While I’m what is termed as an up and coming entrepreneur, I’m still working diligently to master the skills of bringing my product successfully to an online-market. My truest vision is to bring exceptional, high-end quality to your doorstep. If you’ve been looking for gallery-oriented, original artwork, in which no expense has been spared in the creation. Then you have come to the right place. I have to tell ya’ll, it feels incredible at last to be able to bring my collectors online access to my work. Gone are the before-seen-markup-prices previously associated with gallery-overhead. In this new online-venture, I promise to keep my new pricing as reasonable as possible, while still offering the benefits of owning original compositions. Pieces that will surely continue to make each of you smile, and exceed your expectations. As always, I sincerely believe it will be my continued-use of professional detail that will set my new online-work apart. My previous collectors know from experience, that I use only the highest grade support materials in the creation of any canvas leaving my studio. All gesso, every tube of oil, and all subsequent framing material, are all archivally correct. Meaning by law, nothing acid-based was intentionally used in their factory processing. By continuing to use top-of-the-line products that will perform over time, I’ll be sparing my new online-shoppers the time, expense, and frustration of replacing or repairing lesser-quality support items. Bottom line, my work has and will continue to remain, a superior investment over more cheaply constructed artwork. For those unfamiliar with my work, I’ve been at the easel full-time for over five years now, and have been blessed with what I consider a generous Georgian following. It will become obvious when viewing my compositions, that my Southern roots are very-much my most prevailing inspiration. Fun and whimsical, yet traditional moments that I consider simple pleasures of everyday life here in the South. You’ll discover countless memories and expressive characters, gently immortalized on my canvases. Themes drawn from observing my nieces and nephews playing in Nanna’s backyard, their birthday parties and Sunday picnics, stories of their summer camping trips and cherished coastal adventures. And periodically when I need a change of pace, I’ll include some of the beach houses and relic rural homes discovered on some of our journeys together, as well as from our many drives through local countryside. Ya’ll listen..it will be my excellent customer-service, broad-palette and use of vibrant, energetic color, along with my use of best-in-class materials, that will be some of the qualities I most want you to remember. I truly want my quaint, sometimes humorous themes on canvas, to uplift the spirit of your home for years to come, and I want my art to be passed on to loved ones and appreciated by generations to follow.
