Our theme in our lesson is “First aid”.

First Aid
First aid is very important. A little knowledge of first aid is a dangerous thing. An
ordinary person can take a first aid class and learn what to do until the patient receives
professional help. This might mean helping someone until an ambulance comes. When you give
first aid, you breathe directly into the patient`s mouth. Then you pree on the heart in the center
of the chest. You continue alternating these two actions.
At the place of the car accident there are three things you should do. First of all, you
should check if the victims are brething. If thet are not, give them artifical respiration. The most
common injuries in car accidents are fractures and bleeding. Thirdly, it`s very important not to
move the victim unless it`s absolutely necessary.
When a person receives an electric shock, shut off current. If you can`t separate using dry
object, without touching victim with your skin. First aid is worth learning. It can give you the
chanse to save some`onrs life.
