Future
Learn about the history of amazing Egypt! Learn about the
people, religions, and dilemmas- past and present- that
face the country. Hear modern music and learn about
what life is like for teenagers in Egypt.

6 The Refugee
Experience
In this session, learn what it is like to live in a refugee
camp before moving to a brand new country. Listen to
others share their tales of immigration to the US and what
their experiences were like. There will be time at the end
of the session to ask questions.
7 Life as an
English
Language
Learner
Experience ‘class’ as an English Language Learner student.
Understand what it is like to be in a class where teachers
and students speak and act in ways that you do not fully
understand. Discussion and questions at the end of the
session.
8 College as a
First
Generation
Student
Learn about what your options are for college, find out
about programs for first generation students and students
with no documentation, scholarships available through the
state and other organizations, and more. There will be
time to ask questions.
