Unit Plan Abstract
This unit plan will focus on the bones of the body. It will mainly cover their locations and
basic functions. It will go into little detail of categorization and what bones are consisted of as
well as touching on importance of bone safety. To ensure each child learns the content, the
teaching techniques are varied with the use of hands-on learning as well as technology methods.
The use of video, podcast, blog, song, arts projects, and computer games will be primary
methods. Students will also learn how to collaborate with a group during this unit.
