2. We took a picture of the stairs in
Castle field house that we are
going to film the babysitter
walking up, this is to emphasise
that she is tending to baby and
that she is walking upstairs to
where the potential danger is this
will build up suspense in the
audience and keep them on the
edge of there seats. We liked this
location as you got a good view of
the stairs and we would be able
to get good shots of the
babysitter walking up them.
3. This is the same stairs but from a different angle, This would be
good to get a different perspective of the babysitter walking up
the stairs so its not just he same shots this could get a bit boring.
4. We will use this locations (inside Castlefield house) for when
the babysitter is sitting downstairs just before the baby starts
to cry. This will hopefully look like she is relaxing in the house
and not look to much like a normal room. This will make the
trailer more scary as to the viewer it looks just like a normal
house.
5. This is the woods we will film some of our trailer in. We will use this
location to show the babysitter running away from the doll. This is a
typical location for a horror film and one that is used to promote the
genre of a film. We liked this location as it looked like a actual woods
with no buildings or roads in the background which would make it
look less authentic but it was still in college so was easily accessed
without having to take all the camera equipment and the characters
in costume out of the college.
6. This is Castlefield house, We will use long shots of this location to
show that its an ordinary house and also to show the mum leaving
the house in charge of the babysitter so the storyline becomes
clear. A normal house is a typical convention of a horror film so we
think that this will work well for our trailer as we know its
something the audience will like and appeal to.
