1. Applying effects

Going on to the action bar at the top of the
program leads you to the effects including: blur,
lighting, colour, cartoon and black and white.
This can be found at the bottom right hand
corner of the program also. By going onto the
bottom option you can get to film looks also
which include movie style looks – Pandora,
avatar effect
To apply an effect you have to drag it and drop it
onto the timeline or the image to apply it, to
unapply it drag and drop in timeline new effect
and can remove old effect very easily by clicking
remove
Adjust button – tells you what has changed, eg
colour, change is slightly, more detail – eye
button temporarily takes off the effect back to
normal
Applied effects - tells you what effects you have,
can be adjusted with more detail
Expert view – effects at bottom, more categories to choose from
Render button – makes the clip play back in real time, not jumpy or slow
