Premier Pro is video editing software that allows users to rearrange film shots, add effects and transitions, and edit audio. It displays separate shots in sections on the timeline, and users can drag shots to the editing timeline to select the order and add effects. The software provides tools to cut clips, edit audio levels, and preview changes.

1. emier Pro
Premier Pro is an editing software
which allows you to re-arrange any
film recorded to how you would
like it to look.
Here are all of the separate shots I
have used in my film recorded, I
have split them up into sections
so that it is easier for me to put in
order and locate whilst editing.
I am able to drag anyone of those
shots into the editing section.
The Razor Tool allows you to cut into your film. Cutting into it gives you the option to delete that Razor Tool
section, move it, add effects/transitions or make changes to the audio of the selected section.

2. Here I have dragged my scenes
into the timeline, this means that
I am able to selected which parts
of it I would like to add an effect
to.
The top half of the timeline is the
visual half of the project, you are
able to change/re-arrange to
order in which it is shown in, you
can also add different types of
transitions or effects if needed.

The bottom half of the timeline is the audio of each shot. You are able to set timeline I am currently on, it

3. On the bottom left
hand side of the screen
is a box which offers
you the choice to
select; Presents, Audio
Effects, Audio
Transitions, Video
Effects and Video
Transitions.

4. After selecting one of those options, you are shown
different types of effects to choose from, each one
is different and can be used for different reasons.
To add of the effects into your timeline, you simply
drag it into the part of the timeline you want.
The red line above the area highlighted is the effect
I have added to the timeline.

5. On the “preview screen” which is on the top right hand side of
the screen you can see what the effect added looks like within
the video. If you are unhappy with it then just press undo, and
you are able to then choose a different one which you feel
suits it best.

6. Before After
If you click onto the “Preview Screen” a white box with six little squares around each side will turn up, this box
allows you to adjust the size of the scene.
For example, in the two screenshots above you can see that I have shrunk the original size.
