5. MICRO CONTROLLER
 The AVR ATMEGA 8515micro controller is used in
this project.
 It is in the family of Intel 8051. It is a RISC
architecture controller.
 It has the features like 8KB of flash ROM, 512
bytes of SRAM, 512 bytes of EEPROM, USART, SPI,
32 general purpose registers.
 It has 35 I/O lines with 5 ports (PA, PB, PC, PD, PE)

6. CENTER TAPPED STEP DOWN
TRANSFORMER
 The center-tapped step-down transformer is
used to step down the supply voltage of 230v
ac from mains to lower values, as the various
IC’s used in this project require reduced
voltages.
 The conversion of these ac values to dc values
is done using the full wave rectifier unit.
