2. PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE
The past continuous tense is an
important tense in English. We use it
to say what we were in the middle of
doing at a particular moment in the
past.
3. Positif :
S + was/were + Verb1 + ing + Object
Negatif :
S + was/were + not + Verb1 + ing +
Object
Introgatif :
was/were + S + Verb1 + ing + Object
4. EXAMPLE
Positif :
I was studying in the classroom
Negatif :
I was not studying in the classroom
Introgatif :
was I studying in the classroom
5. I have a friend, her name is budi. He is
handsome and clever. I was visiting
him yesterday. We were discussing
biology subject. He has tried explain
the subject, but I haven’t understood
yet. But unfortunatly the day is
falt and I decide to continue
tomorrow.
