Possessive nouns indicate ownership or a relationship between two nouns, with an apostrophe added to the end of the singular noun or after the plural if it does not already end in "s". For plural nouns ending in "s", only an apostrophe is added after the "s" to form the possessive. Possessive nouns can also be used to relate something to a time frame rather than ownership.
