2. Who are youth?
• Population that falls within the age
group of 15 to 30 are the youth.
• World’s highest youth population
is in India
• Youth population around 231
million

3. Today’s Youth
• The youth in India holds a “dual cultural
passport”.
• They are energetic consumers of media,
fashion and lifestyle products.
• Choice is everything an independent youth has,
be it for their gadgets, food or
entertainment. They live their lives muti-
tasking with their studies, gadgets, internet
and television amongst other things.
• They have their own preferences in life .

faces of most youths, even after they get
educated, get the job and get married. It is
