APNIC's Resource Certification Service

Over 99% of their devices are now managed using IPv6-only, and around 40% of their internet traffic occurs over IPv6. Their goal is to continue transitioning their entire infrastructure and services to IPv6-only to fully leverage its capabilities.

ITU IPv6 Group Report
The ITU has taken several steps to promote IPv6 deployment globally and address concerns from developing countries regarding IP address management:
1) An IPv6 Group was established in 2009 and held its first meeting in 2010 to discuss drafting global IPv6 policies and studying equitable access to addresses.
2) The group will continue work through two correspondence groups focused on encouraging deployment and identifying issues in current address management.
3) Developing countries had requested obtaining addresses directly from ITU and the group is looking at solutions within the current system to address concerns raised.
32-bit ASN for DNS Services

Number Resource EXplainer (REX)
RIPE Network Coordination Centre is developing a new service called REX (RIPE Number Resource EXplainer) that will provide comprehensive information about Internet number resources including IP addresses, autonomous system numbers, and their current and historic states. It will combine data from various sources like the RIPE database, routing tables, and blacklists. An initial prototype has been implemented that retrieves data from these sources. About the RIPE NCC
The RIPE NCC was formed in 1992 by the RIPE community to support RIPE's activities in technical coordination of the Internet infrastructure and to serve as a consistent contact point. As one of the five Regional Internet Registries, the RIPE NCC provides registration and allocation services for IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and autonomous system numbers. The RIPE NCC is a bottom-up, self-regulated membership association that is funded by its members and governs internet number resources in Europe and the Middle East according to policies developed by the RIPE community.

Measuring IPv6 at Web Clients and Caching Resolvers
This document describes measurements of IPv6 deployment at web clients and caching DNS resolvers. The measurements involve a JavaScript snippet that causes lookups of domain names with different IPv4 and IPv6 labels to test HTTP and DNS connectivity. The results found that 64% of clients and resolvers were in the same autonomous system for IPv4, but only 20-36% were in the same AS for IPv6. This suggests room for improved IPv6 support within autonomous systems.

È stata un membro attivo dei progetti Fedora e openSUSE e ha co-fondato l'Associazione LibreItalia dove è stata coinvolta in diversi eventi, migrazioni e formazione relativi a LibreOffice. In precedenza ha lavorato a migrazioni e corsi di formazione su LibreOffice per diverse amministrazioni pubbliche e privati. Da gennaio 2020 lavora in SUSE come Software Release Engineer per Uyuni e SUSE Manager e quando non segue la sua passione per i computer e per Geeko coltiva la sua curiosità per l'astronomia (da cui deriva il suo nickname deneb_alpha).
