Dover Energy Automation’s sight optimization package
includes an advanced Smart Camera to provide integrated
audio/video surveillance, as well as night vision and
Thermal Radiometry to monitor critical assets.
The sight optimization package is linked to the XSPOC
SCADA and artificial lift optimization system, using its
xVision feature to integrate well site audio/video streaming
into the XSPOC well status page. Sophisticated software
and  compression  protocols  enable  the  use  of  high
resolution images  while  minimizing  bandwidth  requirements  
and data usage.

XSPOC with xVision
XSPOC is the industry leading SCADA and artificial lift
optimization system. At the heart of XSPOC is an advanced
artificial intelligence engine that provides expert diagnostics of
welloperationsinclearlanguage,alongwithrecommendations
to resolve issues that are discovered by the software. The
xVision feature integrates live wellsite audio/video streaming
right on the well status page. Multiple cameras can be
accessed through the xVision feature. Camera events such
as motion detection are stored and timestamped in the open
database along with other wellsite exceptions. Exception
processing and reporting significantly reduces the effort
required to find potentially costly operating problems.
Temperature Events
The Thermal Radiometry (TR) option can generate automatic
alarms, defined by temperature limits or temperature ranges.  
In this way, unexpected situations can be analyzed remotely
to plan next steps. Critical assets like tank batteries, heater
treaters, or pumping unit motors can be cost-effectively
monitored and maintained remotely. The thermal dual camera
system offers a thermal overlay feature to localize hot spots
in the visual image.

The modular Mobotix Camera can include advanced motion,
activity, temperature, audio and PIR sensors to capture, detect
and notify when meaningful events occur. In-camera data
storage reduces or eliminates the need for PC or DVR storage.
Optical lens and sensor modules can be combined as needed
on a single platform to build a camera that is ideally suited for the
location. The Mobotix Camera is maintenance-free and operates
in a wide temperature range without heaters, fans or enclosures.
