Who Are We?
WWF is a nonprofit organization started in order to protect
and preserve nature. We also conserve endangered
species as well as work in over 100 different countries. We
are made up of a variety of people, from environmentalists
to concerned children.
Our Mission
Our mission is to conserve wildlife and endangered
species like these:
Giant Pandas: Amur Leopards: Bald Eagle:
The Crisis
Animals have been suffering from habitat loss , lack of
food, and many other reasons due to humans. WWF
helps endangered species overcome these problems as
well as many more. There is a crisis because humans
have spoiled the earth with
pollution, urbanization, deforestation, and countless
other things.
Who Do We Serve?
We serve the environment and our Earth, as well as all
animals, from a Hissing Cockroach to an Asiatic Lion.
We are made up of a multitude of environmentalists and
concerned people and are supported by over 5 million
people globally.
Where do we serve?
WWF serves over 100 different countries all over the
world. In Borneo and Sumatra, WWF works on the
ground with local communities and governments, but
also takes action to address the relentless global forces
that threaten the region, while in the Coral Triangle
WWF works to create a network of marine protected
areas.
Some Statistics
 We have lost 97% of wild tigers over a century.
 40% of all animal species are endangered, like Amur
leopards, polar bears, and whales.
 Almost all species of marine turtles are classified as

The mighty tiger stalks his prey…
This magnificent animal is King of the jungle. He rules
his world…until now.
The Tiger slumps onto his side, blood gushing from the
bullet wound. A hunter slides from the cover of the
dense trees and pulls out a small hunting knife. He skins
the tiger, throws it’s pelt over his shoulder, and leaves the
carcass there to rot.
