A landslide triggered by heavy rains buried about 100 people at a gold mining site in Davao del Norte, Philippines. Seven bodies have been recovered so far and seven survivors have been hospitalized. Military and volunteers are continuing search and rescue efforts. Landslides are common hazards at gold mining sites in the area.
