South East And Laddakh And Pakistan
In 1943, he got married with Shareen Amin Begum, who was left by Bhutto to remarry again. Bhutto
married again an Iranian Kurdish woman named Begum Nusrat Ispahani in Karachi on 8th Sept.,
1951. His political career mainly started in the year 1957, when the Bhutto became the youngest
member of Pakistan s delegation to UN. In the year 1958, he became the youngest Pakistan Cabinet
Minister under President Ayub Khan. He was famous for his demagogic styles of speech, which
brought him to national prominence and popularity.
His rise in politics and higher echelons of power was due to his mysteriously sharp mind coupled with
cunning desire to be on the top of the national politics. His astute political manoeuvrings can be
gauged from the fact that on the eve of India China war in 1962, the rulers of China invited Pakistan to
jointly dismember India by attacking on North East and Laddakh and Pakistan from Jammu side in
Jammu and Kashmir to grab the maximum territory. Pakistan could fulfil their wish by taking Kashmir
and China would grab entire North East to come closure to Indian Ocean. Bhutto disclosed the plan to
General Ayub Khan the President of Pakistan but got rebuked for such a loathsome and outrageous
suggestion, rather was suggested that Pakistan should have Joint Defence Agreement with India.
Bhutto was aghast and made a sorry exit, calling Ayub Khan a political bankrupt.

Light Detection And Ranging ( Lidar )
Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) has grown to become a vital technology used in remote sensing
technology from aerial or land based platforms. Environmentalists have used LiDAR extensively in
resource mapping for conservation efforts in the past. However, one of the promising applications of
LiDAR is planning and designing of engineering projects of varying magnitudes and complexities.
Some of the outstanding drawbacks of using traditional data acquisition methods include the amount
of time spent collecting the data and the reduction of the data during processing. Such issues are
significant in engineering projects due to the corresponding cost and safety implications. Using
LiDAR from aerial platforms allows engineers to acquire and process data quickly with high levels of
accuracy as compared to the traditional methods. LiDAR involves the use of directing single laser
pulses on targets and performing an analysis on time taken to receive the reflected pulses (Finkl,
2013). The data collected helps in the determination of elevation details of an area. Additionally,
engineers can use the global positioning system (GPS) and digital photography with the LiDAR
elevation details to present accurate and comprehensive information about the desired location for a
project. The current paper focuses on the LiDAR data generated from aerial sources although several
types of data exist. Literature Review Aerial based LiDAR The aerial based platforms using

Tsa And Transportation Security Administration
On September 11, 2001, 3,000 of Americans was killed in a series of coordinated terrorist attacks in
New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. In response the United States established a Transportation
Security Administration (TSA) and heighten its security throughout the transportation system, which
were designed to prevent similar attacks in the future. This research paper will discuss the history of
the TSA and what it does, how TSA improve aviation security, and the cargo screening process. This
paper will conclude an overall debrief of my discussion about the TSA and transportation security.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was establish in response of 9/11 terrorist attack in
the U.S. Also since this attack the U.S. has established a countermeasure security strategy to prevent a
future attack with the transportation system. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are
responsible for protecting the nation s transportation networks from attack, safeguarding airports and
airplanes, mass transit system, highways, seaports, railroads and buses. This paper will in depth
discuss the history of the TSA and what it does, how TSA improve aviation security, and the cargo
screening process.

Community College Trip Advantages
On February 23rd, 37 McAlester High School Juniors visited the Southeast Campus of Oklahoma s
largest community college. Tulsa Community College is not only the state s largest community
college with better than 26,000 students, it is one of Oklahoma s most aggressive colleges offering
more than 220 Associate Degrees and professional certifications. The excursion was just one of EOSC
s GEAR UP for Success grant s annual planned college visits. As part of the mission of the GEAR UP
Program, students are offered tours of the various colleges and universities across Southeastern
Oklahoma s vast region. By knowing what is out there and the different advantages and disadvantages
for each of the institutions of higher education, students are able to make better informed choices in
selecting the college or university that offers the best fit for the individual student.
The Southeast Campus of TCC offers students associate degrees in Allied Health, Business and
Information Technology, Communications, Liberal Arts, Nursing, Performing Arts, and Science
Mathematics. It is unique in that the campus consists of nine buildings connected by a series of

Three Examples Of Saturated Fats
Lactose intolerance and Fats
What are saturated fat; three examples of saturated fats
These are fat that is made up of atoms that are very dense and the hydrogen atoms fully join with
carbon atoms with no double bonds. This makes the carbon atoms in the fat s molecular structure to be
fully saturated with hydrogen atoms. Three examples of saturated fats are; 1) Butyric acid milk
(especially buffalo, goat, and sheep), butter, Parmesan cheese. 2)Lauric acid coconut oil, palm kernel
oil, laurel oil. 3) Myristic acid nutmeg, coconut oil, palm kernel oil and butterfat. (Wikipedia,2015)
What are unsaturated fats; three examples of saturated fats:
Unsaturated fat is a fatty acid that has one or more double bonds. These double bonds eliminates
hydrogen atom from the molecular fatty acid chain. This makes unsaturated fats unsaturated with
hydrogen atoms. Three examples of unsaturated fats includes: walnuts, olive oil and cashew nuts.

Trans fat are more commonly man made from vegetable oil. The vegetable oil are heated or
hydrogenated to create the trans fat. Three examples of foods that use trans fat are margarine, biscuit
and frozen pizza. (Wikipedia,2015)
Why might food producers add hydrogen atoms to a vegetable oil
They would do this because vegetable oils are unsaturated with hydrogen atoms; by adding hydrogen
atoms to the vegetable oil; it will make the liquid vegetable oils into solid or semi solid fats. This will
make the vegetable oil fat more dense and thus make it more desirable for use in baking. The dense
properties are more desirable for use in baking because of the more wanted texture vs the texture that
would be made with the natural unsaturated vegetable oils. (wikipedia, 2015)
Is there a downside to the hydrogenation

Essay On Panchayati Raj
INTRODUCTION
Panchayati Raj is mainly found in countries like India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. In Indian Sub
continent it is the oldest system of government. The word Raj means to rule and the word panchayat
means assembly.
The panchayat or the assemblies settled fights between the individuals and the village disputes.
Sarpanch or Mukhiya is the main leader or head of the panchayat.
The System of Panchayati Raj was introduced by the constitutional amendment in 1992. It is based
upon the traditional panchayat system of South Asia. Khap Panchayats found in Northern India are
totally different from the modern and gram panchayats. In 1992 the panchayat raj system was
formalized.

English Around Time By Samuel Johnson
English Across Time Natalie Trang
11ENL02 TRA0130
Across time, many people have advocated for the stabilisation of the English language. Samuel
Johnson was a lexicographer who dedicated his life to doing so. He published his dictionary in 1755,
in an effort to prescribe the use of the London dialect of English. However, his aims were not met and
people continued to speak in their various dialects. What Samuel Johnson did not expect was the
unstoppable way in which language evolves. Neither did he realise the timeframe required for ... Show

The people of England in Johnson s time lived segregated lives in their various social classes. The
royals would have had a use for words that the lower class may never have even heard of. It would be
difficult to create one version of English that was current and able to accommodate all the speakers.
The needs of its speakers direct the change in a language. Dr. Samuel Johnson s dictionary was unable
to encapsulate everything that the speakers wanted to express, so they continued to mould the English
language to suit them.
Changes in a language require time for its users to learn how to incorporate it into daily speech and
spread it. For Dr. Johnson s version to become the only version of English, it would require many
speakers to make changes in their speech and writing habits. Before this happened though, the
Industrial revolution came about and brought with it major developments in people s lives. Technical
words such as cylindrical steam press were invented to describe the newly developed technology.
These additions to the speakers lexicons were not limited to technology. The industrial revolution
increased trade and with this, the English borrowed words, such as crinoline , a stiffened petticoat.
Along with neologisms, the semantic meanings of words also broadened in order to cover new uses.
One such word was vacuum, which meant devoid of matter , and later also came to mean a machine
that sucks up

The Movie Les Miserables ( 2012, United Kingdom )
This project focuses on the movie Les Misérables (2012, United Kingdom). The film is an epic
romantic musical directed by Tom Hooper. As a film, Les Misérables is based on a musical by Claude
Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil that goes by the same name (Les Misérables) and is also based
upon Victor Hugo s French novel Les Misérables, 1862 (Shoard n.p). This analysis looks at various
elements of the movie ranging from the themes used in the film, its genre, artistic movement, the
director s style and the film s representation on its country s culture.
The movie tells the story of an ex convict by the name of Jean Valjean. Mr. Valjean resorts to change
his life after getting inspiration from a kind hearted pastor. He ends up being a factory owner as well
as a mayor in a one of the town s in France. Even though he is focused on making positive strides, his
past is something he is wary of. Valjean is wary of being recaptured by Monsieur Javert, a ruthless
police inspector with the reputation of hunting down criminals and a strong belief that law breakers
are not capable of change. One of Jean Valjean s workers, a woman by the name of Fantine ends up as
a prostitute after being cast out of the factory. She ends up dying and Valjean ends up feeling
responsible for her demise. To make up for it, he adopts Fantine s daughter Cosette offering to take
care of her. When Cosette matures, they end up being embroiled in the political unrest that took place

Harry s Touch On My Cheek
There s only a week of spring break left now. You can t just spend it hiding in your room. With his
hands placed behind his back, Harry effortlessly stands to peer over me with his tall frame.
I can and I will. I turn my head away from Harry and hug my knees closer to my chest. I tightly grip a
hold of my turquoise covers and attempt to pull them over my head. As much as I wish I could stay
hidden under my bed covers forever, the weather was honestly getting too warm for that.
Stopping my wrist from throwing the bed cover over my face, Harry turns his head to meet my
unstable eyes again. He takes my cheek in his oversized palms and guides my head to face his
direction. Hey, look at me. What s going on?

I m not! Flustered by Harry s keen senses, my voice comes out much louder than I intend.

I ferociously defend myself and my lie. Really!
If you really have everything under control, come over for dinner with Liam and Niall. You re
slacking off on the whole fake girlfriend business. Harry challenges.
I can t, because.... Because... I lick my dry lips. My mouth rushes to form words, but nothing seems to
escape. I had to say something. I needed an excuse as to why I did not want to leave my house. But,
my words come out as a blank canvas.
Harry smirks again. Because why, Ivy? He cocks his head to the side, appearing like some greek god.
I thought you had everything under control. His voice adds an emphasis to the word everything.
I begin stammering again. I do have everything control. It s just that...
Just what? Harry asks with a sarcasm behind his words.
You know... just the typical stuff.
Like what? Harry raises a brow.
Slowly, I draw my hand from under the covers. I flick my wrist to launch a middle finger at Harry s
eye level and send him mean glare. Go to hell, Styles.
Instantly, Harry s faces seems to radiate at my remark. Happily. Harry twinks. I ll meet you there!

Framework for Competitor Analysis
One of the major models for competitive intelligence is the Porter s model Framework for Competitor
Analysis . Diagram Reference: Strategy and the Business Landscape Pankaj Ghemawat, 1999. Pearson
This model looks at competitor analysis from the perspective of competitor s current business
portfolio, current strategy and its current capabilities in terms of strengths and weaknesses. For an
insight into the future, the company needs to understand the competitor s mind set in terms of
competitor s future goals in its various country markets and for various businesses. It is also essential
to understand the competitor s likely assumptions about itself and the industry.
Based on an understanding of the competitor s current strategy and what drives the competitor, it is
possible for a company to anticipate the competitor s responses in the following four aspects:
Does the current position of the competitor satisfy its needs?
What moves or strategies will the competitor implement?
Where is the competitor vulnerable?
When will the retaliation be greatest by the

Flaubert as Emma in Madame Bovary Essay
Flaubert as Emma in Madame Bovary
During the Nineteenth Century, Europe experienced a literary movement known as Romanticism. This
movement valu[ed] emotion, intuition, and imagination (Rosenbaum 1075). Gustave Flaubert, born in
1821, grew up during this innovative movement and became entranced by the romantics.
Unfortunately, Romanticism was a passing affair in France, and young Flaubert realized it consistently
encouraged illusions it could not satisfy (Bart 54). His later disgust for the movement would lead
Flaubert to writing his greatest novels.
His most famous and widely renowned novel, Madame Bovary, is largely an autobiography; however,

She also gave him a family jewel . . . set in a cigar case with [the] motto: Amor nel cor inscribed on it

insistent on receiving a letter a day from Flaubert. Like Emma s lovers, Flaubert became tired of this
routine and showed his aggressions more openly. Rodolphe began to treat [Emma] coarsely, without
consideration (Flaubert 165). Eventually, the affair waned and came to an end, after Flaubert wrote
Louise a goodbye letter. Rodolphe would come to write Emma such a letter as well. He would not let
himself ruin her life (Flaubert 174).
Through all of his affairs with women, Flaubert began to make a series of maxims about women in
general (Bart 258). He even tried to explain these ideas to Louise. Flaubert believed all women were
never frank with themselves, because they would never admit the purely physical aspect of attraction

What Is The Development Of Vibration-Based Damage...
A damaged structure can potentially threaten the safety and economical use of the system, and even if
it is not detected in the early stage, it may bring about structural failure over the time. Therefore,
devising effective non destructive damage detection methods has been the center of atten tion in civil
engineering studies during the last decades [1]. These methods can be classified as local and global
techniques. Since local methods, such as the X ray, magnetic particle, ultrasound etc., are limited to
detecting damage on or near the surface of structures, the need for global damage detection
techniques, which can be used for complex structures, has resulted in development of vibration based
damage detec tion methods (VBDD). The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In model based methods, generally, there are two models. A refer ence model, which is a well
correlated model of the undamaged struc ture. An updated model that reproduces the measured
responses under the damage states by modifying the structural properties like mass, stiffness,
damping, etc. Making comparison between these two models provide damage location and severity.
Apart from this fact that structural mod els in these methods are Structural Matrix, Finite Element
(FE), Mapping or Meta Models, updated models can be modified in a direct way or in an iterative one.
Although, model based methods have physical mean ings and are easier to be interpreted compared
with abstract mathemati cal features, they are unfortunately computationally intensive and time
consuming. Thus, they are not usually practical for online damage detec tion and structural health
monitoring (SHM), particularly where structures are large and complex and there are a lot of
simplification and uncertain ties in simulation of structure and circumstances [1]. School of Civil
Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology. To address this issue, a novel direct model
based damage detection method is proposed. The main part of this method is Simple Adaptive Control
(SAC) algorithm, so it is called briefly SAC/DD method. The SAC algorithm is introduced by Sobel
et al. [2], then it is developed by Barkana and Kaufman [3] and Wen and Balas [4]. Furthermore,

9 Ways to Increase Profits for Your Creative Business
The difficult thing to cope with for creatives in business is maximizing profits. When you strike out on
your own there s a lot of excitement about the freedom you will have to create and operate on your
own terms. Unfortunately, this can go downhill quick when you don t have the business nous to back
up your creative instincts.
So, how can you increase profits for your creative business and ensure your continued success? We ve
put together nine ways to get you through the more challenging times (and even maximise your profits
when things are going well).

5. Leasing
If you re just starting out and you don t have the money to purchase a workspace, then leasing may be
your best option. Alternatively, if you have already purchased a workspace there may be room for you
to lease to another creative type and earn extra income to help pay the mortgage as well as other
overheads.
6. Producing Your Own Products Services
You re a creative so you are constantly coming up with new and wonderful ideas, whether they apply
to specific projects or are inspired elsewhere. Your offering be a physical product, an idea, a service
that you offer, or even regular events on your expert subjects. Anything can be monetised when there s
a market for it.
7. Side Hustle
You can operate a side business with no relevance to your main business to provide yourself with a
much needed boost in profits. It will require more time and effort, and employees... but if you get in
on the act with someone else as opposed to being the main operator you have a new source of revenue.

Why The Chinese Market Is Responsible For The Consumption...
Christine Bigham
Bringing Beer to China On the surface, bringing beer to China seems to be undoubtedly a good idea.
The Chinese market is responsible for the consumption of a quarter of the world s overall beer
volume. Also, a tenth of the revenue from the beer industry can be traced to the Chinese market. The
Chinese beer market is so massive it seems like a sure fire way to generate an increase revenue for any
beer company. The Chinese market seems so viable that many western brands are looking to expand
into the market possibly as a way to compensate for lagging sales in America as a result of the
increase in American preference for craft beers and local brews. In order to enter this highly
competitive Chinese beer market, western companies should try some various less conventional tactics
to entering the marketplace. As stated in the article the Chinese market is experiencing stagnant
growth in their beer industry. This stagnant phase has been attributed to the Chinese economic
slowdown, population aging, as well as the increased interest of Chinese consumers in comparable
beverages and local brews. In order to address these concerns, western companies should figure out
how to take their brand name, but make a local version of it. Making a premium local craft beer
product line specifically for the Chinese market would tap into the Chinese interests in craft beers,
while also simultaneously tapping into the market of younger consumers that are pushing the

Effects Of Fast Food
Many fast food restaurants are available whenever you want and at any time during the day. From In n
out to Chick fil A, fast food places are convenient and quick but not many people know about the
effects these places bring into our lives. The most important effect is what it can do to your health.
From the convenience, new deals and prices, these places are rising in popularity. Popular places such
as mcdonalds and taco bell have traveled far beyond what we could imagine just for a small meal. The
effects of these fast food restaurants and their popularity have caused many problems in the lives of
people.
The biggest and major effect of fast food places is the affect on your health. The popularity of fast
food places takes a toll on the health of their costumers. Many families have a mother and father that
work hard during the day and struggle to have the time to make food for their families at night. This
causes them too need to improvise, because it takes much less time to go through the drive through
than it does to make a home cooked meal. Although it doesn t seem bad to do it once and a while, it
starts to become a habit. One day of fast food turns onto more, its simple, easy and accessible. The
grease fried foods, or the fake products that are hidden in these delicious foods take a toll on our
health more than we know. One fast food meal can be packed with more sodium, fat and calories then
what is healthy for our bodies to intake in a day. This over do on such

Revenge And Corruption In Hamlet Essay
Revenge: the act of inflicting harm on someone because of a wrongdoing. This idea is a key theme in
Hamlet and Shakespeare uses it to drive the entire play. Due to this, ideas like playing a part and
corruption arise to give structure to the play. Revenge is presented first in Act I, Scene V when the
supposed ghost of Hamlet s father comes to Hamlet in the night. This ghost proclaims to Hamlet that
his uncle murdered him and married his mother. The ghost requests that Hamlet avenge his father s
soul by sending his uncle, Claudius, to hell. Hamlet is presented with the opportunity many times, but
each time Hamlet constantly overthinks the revenge, causing him to form excuses that postpone the
murder.
Hamlet s yearning for the revenge ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At end of the first act it seems as if Hamlet does not kill Claudius due to lack of motivation, but in the
second act it seems like Hamlet does not kill his uncle because he is afraid of the religious
consequences. In early 17th century London, religion affected all aspects of life, and Shakespeare
most definitely included the religious ideology of the time in Hamlet . Therefore, Hamlet believes that
the only way to obtain salvation and go to heaven was by confessing one s sins. However, if one could
not confess their sins before death, they would be sentenced to purgatory until they repent. This can be
seen with Hamlet s father, Doomed for a certain term to walk the night / And for the day confined to
fast in fires, / Till the foul crimes done in my days of nature / Are burnt and purged away (1.5.10 13).
Hamlet s father exclaims to him that he is trapped in the fires of purgatory because he never repented
for his crimes. This idea of going to purgatory is the main reasoning behind his hesitation. Hamlet also
wants his uncle to suffer the same fate that his father had, A villain kills my father, and, for that, / I, his
sole son, do this same villain send / To heaven. / Oh, this is hire and salary, not revenge (3.3.77 80).
Although Hamlet seems very serious about getting revenge on Claudius, this can be looked at as
another reason for Hamlets

They have low external expectations which also leads to low internal expectations. His friends have
all grown up in poor conditions. His best friend, Johnny, is constantly beat at home and is only himself
when he is with the gang. The Greasers are rivals with the Socs, a rich gang made of rich kids.
Ponyboy thought that the Socs had it made, but after he meets Cherry he finds out that they also have
external and internal expectations that make their lives not so made. Ponyboy and Cherry are outsiders
because they see the world differently than the groups that they are in and have a window to escape
stereotype threat and into society where they will be known as an individual, while Dally and Bob
have decided that they are what their group is and they won t have that window.
Ponyboy Curtis faces stereotype threat because of the actions of the group that he is in. They ll know
we re hoods the minute they see us, I thought (Hinton 58). This quote shows that the Greasers face
stereotype threat because people are scared just at the sight of Johnny and Ponyboy. Stereotype threat
has people thinking that Johnny and Ponyboy are dangerous just because of the way they look and the
way they dress. It drives my brother Darry nuts when I do stuff like that, cause I m supposed to be

Ancient Egypt And The Egyptian Culture
Ancient Egypt was a fascinating culture, and still seems to surprise the current generation with more
discoveries coming out. And for historians the Egyptian culture has made it easier for scholars and
historians to track their life and culture with all the evidence left behind. The Egyptians were people
who were divide by gender and a strong hierarchy. And the Egyptian culture was quite advanced for
their time in history in regards to technology and economy. Religion was not a single structure; it has
different beliefs all that were linked by focus on the interaction between the Egyptian people and the
divine realm of Egypt, as the gods of this realm linked the Egyptian understanding of the world. And
this is very well known by looking at their artwork throughout their buildings and artifacts. The
religion in ancient Egypt was what made the civilization a very unique one. Religion was also a very
big part in their government structure. Religion played a very important role in constructing daily lives
of ancient Egyptians and inspired those amazing construction buildings that were done. The main
figure was the pharaoh he was the center person that religion evolved around of. Their goal throughout
their existence was to duplicate the conditions that believed were around ever since the start of time of
the human population. They tried so hard to try and figure out and copy that and tried to insert that
into their religion. They believed that the temple that they resided in

Apple also has an advantage on their low production cost because of its economies of scale and these
are the main reasons that contribute to Apple Company dominance in the market with respect to new
market entrants.
Another force, which is the threats of rivals doesn t affect Apple much and Apple Company is not too
concerned about these threats. When Apple first introduced the IPod and Iphone products, their
company rose to the top of the market immediately and it made them the top leader of the mobile
electronic market.
Apple Company has created a strong brand name which represents quality and classy products. The
brand has also built up customer loyalty throughout these years and they gained a lot of trust from
their product users. Apple eventually leads when it comes to quality because their product such as
MacBook recorded only 17.4% failure rate which is actually lower than a lot of their competitors.
Besides that, Apple also stayed two years ahead of its competitors. They designed and worked on
products that are launched today two years ago such as the Iphone 6 which is launched today were
actually designed and worked on from year 2012. Even though they are ahead in the market, Apple
does not stagnate but instead conducted continuous improvement and innovation to make sure that
there are fearless of their rivals in the industry.

American Dream A Biological Impossibility, Neuroscientist...
The American dream has lurked over its people with open, forgiving, and promising arms. It served as
a beacon for all who wanted to escape their indigenous lives, and seek refuge in a place where
opportunity and hope ran rampant. The beacon that was once brightly lit for the world and its
inhabitants to gaze in awe at, has since been dimmed by the very people that kneel beneath it. Their
absolute, immediate fulfillment of this dream damaged one of the internal foundations that made the
country as strong and powerful as it is. More specifically, the American dream has provided
Americans with a set of ideals that effectively led to an overarching usage of credit cards, which, in a
broad view, deeply harms the nation s economy, simply because those ideals are no longer biologically
possible, as according to WIRED s article, American Dream a Biological Impossibility, Neuroscientist

Institutional Treatment For Psychiatric Disorders
The Olmstead case began in 1995 with two women, Lois Curtis and Elaine Wilson who had
developmental disabilities and a history of institutional treatment for psychiatric disorders. They were
voluntarily admitted at different times, to a secure unit of Georgia Regional Hospital to stabilize and
administer to their immediate needs, then continued treatment on an out patient basis which was the
normal course of action for this hospital. Through clinical assessments, the treating physicians
determined that each woman was able to receive appropriate supports and services in a less restrictive,
community based setting. The hospital administrators moved Lois and Elaine to a state run institution,
and refused them placement in a community setting, apparently due to a lack of state funding to make
this transition possible. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/98 536.ZS.html)
Lois, later joined by Elaine, filed a lawsuit in District Court in Northern District of Georgia, claiming
that the State violated Title II of the ADA, which prohibits subjecting an individual with a disability to
discrimination by reason of the disability, and the integration regulation, which seeks to eliminate
segregating people with disabilities. Title II also stipulates that individuals must be placed in the least
restrictive, integrated setting to meet their needs, when professionals working with the individual
establish that such a placement is appropriate. Lois and Elaine were both assessed and it was

Why Do Chocolate Milk Serve In Schools
Have you ever tried chocolate milk? If you haven t you should, because the creamy chocolate taste is
truly delicious. I think schools should serve chocolate milk. But on the other hand there are many who
disagree with the idea of chocolate milk being served in schools, because it has a lot of sugar. When
you look at the facts though it is clear that chocolate milk should be served in schools. Chocolate milk
should be served in schools because its nutritious, kids drink more if its flavored, and it helps kids
achieve their dairy servings. There are tons of advantages for having chocolate milk in our school.
One reason we should serve chocolate milk is that it is nutritious. For example, Chocolate milk gives
kids the nine essential nutrients they need, this was stated by Mrs. Dobbins from the midwest dairy
council, this is important because kids need nutrients to grow to their full potential. Also, kids can get
vitamins from chocolate milk that they might not get anywhere else, says David Muir author of got

Marilyn Grief
Attachment, expectedness, and grief accumulation, are important variables that impact the way an
individual experiences grief, further influencing the way they heal (Golden, 2000). Marilyn is
experiencing circumstances that influence how she is grieving. Her son, who was a major part of her
life, died unexpectedly in a car accident. Additionally, she is experiencing accumulated grief from a
lack of closure after her father passed away. Golden (2000) reports that when an individual loses
someone they are very attached to they will experience a greater degree of grief. Furthermore, if the
loss was unexpected, such as a car accident, the grief will be significantly different than if it was
expected. Another important factor in the grieving process focuses on the presence of accumulated
grief. If grief isn t acknowledged and/or dealt with, it can have an impact on everyday life and can
affect the way an individual copes with other grief occurrences (Golden, 2000). Marilyn still has
unresolved issues revolving around her parents divorce and subsequent death of her father. ... Show

Morrison s main character and is a perfect example of a Liberated woman. According to Lois Tyson s
definition of a Liberated Woman, Sula has discovered her abilities, knows what she needs, and goes

From then on Nel resolved to be on guard always. She wanted to make certain that no man ever

Compared to most other professional sports leagues in the United States, there is a lot of financial
disparity between small market and large market teams in Major League Baseball. Moneyball: The Art
of Winning an Unfair Game is a novel about how an unlikely general manager, Billy Beane, used
unconventional statistical analysis to enable the Oakland Athletics to outplay much wealthier teams in
the league. The problem faced by Beane and the Athletics was competing against large market teams
that were able to afford the services of the best players in the league. Through the use of sabermetrics,

Baseball is a true team sport .
Sabermetrics, the statistical method applied by Bean and his acquaintance Paul DePodesta deviated
from these overused and overvalued measures, and focused on team players, not volatile superstars
(Moneyball). Sabermetrics revolved around the analysis of undervalued statistics primarily on base
percentage, the number of times a player swings at the first pitch, and the average number of pitches
per at bat a player sees (Moneyball). With this tactic, Billy Beane and the Oakland Athletics were able
to win many more games than they would have if they were constrained by overvalued players. Beane
was able to use this ingenious method of statistical analysis to discern the unique talents of
undervalued players that did not meet the statistical criteria of big market teams. With a very
specifically assembled team, whereby some players were even forced to switch positions, the Oakland
Athletics had seemed to overcome the odds.
A prime example of the potential success of sabermetrics was seen in a player named Scott Hatteberg.
Hatteberg spent most of his career lingering around the Boston Red Sox organization as a catcher both
in the minor leagues and in the major leagues (Moneyball). Hatteberg was seen as a very average
catcher and hitter throughout the big leagues. He did his job well enough, however he did not stand
out in popular statistical categories such as homeruns and RBIs. Unacknowledged by the Red Sox,
however,

people thanked my friend and I for joining their service and most of all being respectful of their
beliefs and rituals. Additionally, they allowed us to ask questions. This is how I was able to discover
some issues are in regard to Judaism based off of their perspective. One of the lay people explained
that the holocaust still has eternal damage on Jewish people and their culture. With Hitler invading
Nazi Germany and separating Jews from one another and others it caused a split in the religion. As
reported by Maryles, a writer for Jewish Press, Rabbi Weil declared a holocaust causes more Jews to
be lost from Judaism than the actual holocaust... the great boon to Jews in America is its biggest bane .
Meaning what s beneficial for one person is a burden to someone else. Another conflict is
intermarrying which means when people of various races or religion become connected by marriage.
Spouses following different religious paths means they have opposite beliefs which can create
afflicting ideals within the marriage. Rabbi Weil also claims, The American ideal of freedom and our
widespread acceptance is in fact the double edged sword that is both helping us and skewering us...
the freedom this country offers allows us to shed any semblance of our Judaism . An additional issue
is the religious Jewish youth. A different lay person from the Shabbat service said that the schools are
not teaching the Torah the same way it once was taught. Mentioned by Rabbi Zecharya Greenwald,
students are being told that if they do not carry themselves a certain way

Mead-Hall In Beowulf
The role the mead hall plays in Anglo Saxon warrior culture is an important one, for without such a
hall, there is no such basis for a community. The mead hall offers the security and stability that a
warrior needs after a long day. Likewise, it is also the warrior culture s ultimate vulnerability, So times
were pleasant for the people there until finally one, a fiend out of hell, began to work his evil in the
world (p1237). As presented in Beowulf, the mead hall is the very reason he is given a chance to prove
his extraordinary strength and power due to Grendal sneaking in the great hall at night to ravenously
devour warriors one by one, So, after nightfall, Grendal set out for the lofty house...there he came

Things You Should Know About Zen Meditation
We all struggle with stress from work or school. You can not close your eyes to leave them out, but
you can find peace so you can handle them. One technique that can offer this is Zen meditation.
Zen meditation is often referred to as the study of the self. It involves sitting in various positions to
bring mind and body into a peaceful and stable state. This happens when you focus on images and
thoughts that just pop up when your heart rate slows down until you reach a reflective state of
meditation.
One of the best seating positions for this is the Burmese position. There is also the full lotus, half
lotus, knee or seiza position and sits in a chair.
The key here is to keep your back straight so that your deep breathing goes naturally. This allows
more oxygen to purify and energize the body. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition to the right posture you should always wear loose clothing. It is not advisable to practice
this after a heavy meal, as a full stomach usually causes discomfort, which in itself is a distraction.
If you want to learn Zen Meditation, you can read about it or join a group. Once you get the hang of it,
you can even buy accessories to make the experience a fruitful experience, such as joss sticks, a bell,
or even a singing bowl that marks the beginning and end of a session.
Short incense burnsShort incense sticks burn for about 45 minutes while the longer ones are double
the time. You can even use the kitchen timer since no one will be there to ring the bell to say time is
up.
Zen meditation experts recommend that beginners should try for 10 minutes first until you get used to
it before you decide to extend this for 20 or 30 minutes. Should your mind wander off, concentrate a
little harder to focus once again on your breathing so your thoughts will settle down

Optical Fiber Lab Report
Introduction
An optical fiber (or optical fiber) is a flexible, transparent fiber made by drawing glass (silica) or
plastic to a breadth somewhat thicker than that of a human hair. Optical fibers are utilized regularly as
a way to transmit light between the two closures of the fiber and find wide utilization in fiber optic
communication, where they allow transmission over longer separations and at higher bandwidths
(information rates) than wire links. Fibers are utilized rather than metal wires in light of the fact that
signals go along them with lesser measures of loss; moreover, fibers are likewise resistant to
electromagnetic impedance, an issue which metal wires experience the ill effects of excessively.
Fibers are additionally utilized for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
2) Immunity to electromagnetic interference
Light transmission through optical strands is unaffected by other electromagnetic radiation adjacent.
The optical fiber is electrically non conductive, so it doesn t go act as a receiving wire to get

interferences, even electromagnetic pulses produced by atomic gadgets.
3) Low attenuation loss over long distance
Attenuation misfortune can be as low as 0.2 dB/km in optical fiber cables, permitting transmission
over long distances without the requirement for repeaters.
4) Electrical insulator
Optical filaments don t lead power, anticipating issues with ground circles and conduction of

Heritage Differences In Everyday Use By Alice Walker
Heritage Differences
In the short story Everyday Use , by Alice Walker she represents the conflicts and struggles of the
African American culture in rural Georgia around the early 1970 s. Alice Walker introduced 4 main
characters; Mama and her two daughters, Maggie and Dee as well as Dee s boyfriend Hakim a barber.
Mama is the narrator of the story, she is both a mother and father to her daughters as she is uneducated
but worked years of physical labor and lives in poverty. Maggie is the youngest daughter who s shy
and lives with Mama, she lacks confidence and is unable to be open nor make eye contact with the
people talking to her. Mama s older daughter, Dee who renamed herself as Wangero Leewanika
Kemanjo is educated, determined, and confident. She declares that she is the one who is looking at the
important aspects of her family history and Mama and Maggie aren t aware of it. Everyday Use carries
many different meanings that highlight the issue of how things are used on an everyday basis.
Understanding their family African heritage was a big concept for Dee. As Mama and Dee had two
different opinions about heritage which caused conflict about whom should keep the quilts from
Maggie and Dee. Everyday Use is a focus on the bonds women have between different generations
and legacies for example, the Quilts. Mama and Maggie see a different usefulness to the quilts
compared to Dee, the quits represent matters such as reading, race and class, among others.
Quilting in Everyday Use symbolizes family heritage. They are a history of papers in fabric that vary
over generations. They symbolize the family s history of pride, poverty and struggle. Mama and Dee
have different perspectives on what the quilts mean to the family heritage. As to Mama, the quilts have
a special significance; when she goes to touch them, she is feeling the people who represented them,
the ones who worked on them in her family. It represents the bond between women of different
generations in their family. The quilts to Mama don t only represent her understanding of heritage but
also shows how she s connected to them with her family. I took it for a moment in my hands. You didn

  • 2. South East And Laddakh And Pakistan In 1943, he got married with Shareen Amin Begum, who was left by Bhutto to remarry again. Bhutto married again an Iranian Kurdish woman named Begum Nusrat Ispahani in Karachi on 8th Sept., 1951. His political career mainly started in the year 1957, when the Bhutto became the youngest member of Pakistan s delegation to UN. In the year 1958, he became the youngest Pakistan Cabinet Minister under President Ayub Khan. He was famous for his demagogic styles of speech, which brought him to national prominence and popularity. His rise in politics and higher echelons of power was due to his mysteriously sharp mind coupled with cunning desire to be on the top of the national politics. His astute political manoeuvrings can be gauged from the fact that on the eve of India China war in 1962, the rulers of China invited Pakistan to jointly dismember India by attacking on North East and Laddakh and Pakistan from Jammu side in Jammu and Kashmir to grab the maximum territory. Pakistan could fulfil their wish by taking Kashmir and China would grab entire North East to come closure to Indian Ocean. Bhutto disclosed the plan to General Ayub Khan the President of Pakistan but got rebuked for such a loathsome and outrageous suggestion, rather was suggested that Pakistan should have Joint Defence Agreement with India. Bhutto was aghast and made a sorry exit, calling Ayub Khan a political bankrupt. Again Bhutto in 1965 after India Pakistan war when learned about India enriching Uranium for ... Environmentalists have used LiDAR extensively in resource mapping for conservation efforts in the past. However, one of the promising applications of LiDAR is planning and designing of engineering projects of varying magnitudes and complexities. Some of the outstanding drawbacks of using traditional data acquisition methods include the amount of time spent collecting the data and the reduction of the data during processing. Such issues are significant in engineering projects due to the corresponding cost and safety implications. Using LiDAR from aerial platforms allows engineers to acquire and process data quickly with high levels of accuracy as compared to the traditional methods. LiDAR involves the use of directing single laser pulses on targets and performing an analysis on time taken to receive the reflected pulses (Finkl, 2013). The data collected helps in the determination of elevation details of an area. Additionally, engineers can use the global positioning system (GPS) and digital photography with the LiDAR elevation details to present accurate and comprehensive information about the desired location for a project. The current paper focuses on the LiDAR data generated from aerial sources although several types of data exist. For Dr. Johnson s version to become the only version of English, it would require many speakers to make changes in their speech and writing habits. Before this happened though, the Industrial revolution came about and brought with it major developments in people s lives. Technical words such as cylindrical steam press were invented to describe the newly developed technology. These additions to the speakers lexicons were not limited to technology. The industrial revolution increased trade and with this, the English borrowed words, such as crinoline , a stiffened petticoat. A damaged structure can potentially threaten the safety and economical use of the system, and even if it is not detected in the early stage, it may bring about structural failure over the time. Therefore, devising effective non destructive damage detection methods has been the center of atten tion in civil engineering studies during the last decades [1]. These methods can be classified as local and global techniques. Since local methods, such as the X ray, magnetic particle, ultrasound etc., are limited to detecting damage on or near the surface of structures, the need for global damage detection techniques, which can be used for complex structures, has resulted in development of vibration based damage detec tion methods (VBDD). The Chinese beer market is so massive it seems like a sure fire way to generate an increase revenue for any beer company. In early 17th century London, religion affected all aspects of life, and Shakespeare most definitely included the religious ideology of the time in Hamlet . Therefore, Hamlet believes that the only way to obtain salvation and go to heaven was by confessing one s sins. However, if one could not confess their sins before death, they would be sentenced to purgatory until they repent. Marilyn is experiencing circumstances that influence how she is grieving. Her son, who was a major part of her life, died unexpectedly in a car accident. Additionally, she is experiencing accumulated grief from a lack of closure after her father passed away. Golden (2000) reports that when an individual loses someone they are very attached to they will experience a greater degree of grief. Furthermore, if the loss was unexpected, such as a car accident, the grief will be significantly different than if it was expected. Another important factor in the grieving process focuses on the presence of accumulated grief. If grief isn t acknowledged and/or dealt with, it can have an impact on everyday life and can affect the way an individual copes with other grief occurrences (Golden, 2000). Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game is a novel about how an unlikely general manager, Billy Beane, used unconventional statistical analysis to enable the Oakland Athletics to outplay much wealthier teams in the league. Sabermetrics, the statistical method applied by Bean and his acquaintance Paul DePodesta deviated from these overused and overvalued measures, and focused on team players, not volatile superstars (Moneyball). Sabermetrics revolved around the analysis of undervalued statistics primarily on base percentage, the number of times a player swings at the first pitch, and the average number of pitches per at bat a player sees (Moneyball). With this tactic, Billy Beane and the Oakland Athletics were able to win many more games than they would have if they were constrained by overvalued players. Beane was able to use this ingenious method of statistical analysis to discern the unique talents of undervalued players that did not meet the statistical criteria of big market teams. With a very specifically assembled team, whereby some players were even forced to switch positions, the Oakland Athletics had seemed to overcome the odds. A prime example of the potential success of sabermetrics was seen in a player named Scott Hatteberg. Hatteberg spent most of his career lingering around the Boston Red Sox organization as a catcher both in the minor leagues and in the major leagues (Moneyball). Hatteberg was seen as a very average catcher and hitter throughout the big leagues.
