artists to stop trying to break away from their race, as it invokes a sense of belonging. All the

All over most college campuses there is a group of students that commonly get over looked; the
international students. International students make up a good majority of a lot of college
campuses. Statistics have shown that 1,000,000 international students are enrolled at universities in
the United States of America (Migration Policy Institute). I chose to observe a group of
international students at universities, because this is a topic that is of interest to me. Since
international students are so common at universities, they play a big part in our society. It does
seem that possibly at times, international students can get overlooked because at many universities
they are in the minority. Even though there are many differences between non international and
international students, we all share one purpose; to get an education at a universityin the United
Statesof America. If an international studentis at a university in America, in most cases you can
assume they are there for a purpose. For international students, they are in a complete different
country than their family. Most students would not do that, unless they have a purpose in doing it.
Most international students come to the states to get better quality education, so they can have a
future with better opportunities. People s view on international students, in most cases would
completely depend on the person. It seems that most people have some level of respect for them
considering the sacrifices that they make

Have you ever wondered how Ancient Egypt helped shape the world today? Ancient Egyptians
were a group of folks who were heavily influenced by religion. They feared dying anywhere but
Egypt. The Egyptian Empire held a fascinating and very distinctive culture. Being one of the world
s most advanced cultures and creating tons of wealth is what separated them from everybody else.
Between the outstanding artwork, teaching methods, and amazing pyramids is what helped their
society advance altogether. No other civilization of the ancient world history had such a popular
appeal and none as important as human society and its organization. Egyptianshave made great
steps in shaping the world we all know today, which have made studying their culture and society
easier than some previous historical eras.
First and foremost, Ancient Egypt was structured in the form of a pyramid. The top of the
pyramid of course was the gods. These gods included Ra, Osiris, and Iris, and according to the
people of Egypt, these gods controlled almost the entire earth. Leaders in Egypt were called
pharaohs so they were believed to be Gods in human form which is amazing. The ruler in status
were powerful nobles and priests. Only nobles could hold government posts and in those positions
they profited from tributes paid to the pharaoh. Priests were responsible for pleasing the gods.
