This document discusses reconciling free will and predestination in regards to salvation. Free will refers to man's ability to choose salvation without God's help, while predestination refers to God choosing before creation those he will save and condemn. Reconciling the two is complex, as free will must be defined for man's states before and after the Fall from grace. Overall, free will and God's sovereignty in predestination can be reconciled by understanding that God's choice of the elect does not eliminate man's responsibility in choosing to accept salvation.
