Firstly enjambment is seen more than once throughout the duration of the poem. Dickinson

The short story The Lesson by Toni Cade Bambara was written in 1972. The Lesson was a first
person point of view story, it was told by a young girl named, Sylvia. This story tells about the
shopping trip that the teacher of the class, Miss Moore, took the children. The main ideas of this
story are the economic life style, social inequality, and lack of equal education for the African
Americans. Miss Moore tries to teach the kids there is a better life in a small trip to the toy
store. Sylvia gets angry with Miss Moore taking them to the toy store, not understanding why
she would take them. The way Toni Bambara wrote The Lesson in first person narration gives
the story realism. The story The Lesson is told by a little girl named Sylvia, and it is about her
class and Miss Moore going to a toy store. Before they leave, Miss Moore tells them how money
is not being fairly handed out in the country and tells them where they are living is called the
slums and that they are poor. They all get in two separate cabs; Sylvia and a couple of friends are
in one, Miss Moore and the rest of the class are in the other cab. When they got out they realized

Phantom limb syndrome is an extraordinary condition that is caused by amputating a limb or

this would be related to the brains rate or ability to regenerate. A child brain is going to repair much
quicker than an adult, as their brains are still in rapid development (Scheinberg, 2016). Other
factors can play a part and may increase the chances of a patient experiencing this condition, and
some of them include: preamputation pain in the limb that was amputated, a blood clot that formed
in the amputated limb, a preamputation infection, previous damage to spinal cord or peripheral
nerves that supplied the affected limb, traumatic amputation, and the type of anaesthesia that was
used during the operation (Scheinberg, 2016). Nikolajsen and Jensen (2001) state that in paediatric
amputees, it was found that most of the children who were experiencing phantom pain, also
expressed feeling pain before the operation. The symptoms that occur in amputees/people born
without a limb can differ slightly, but all the symptoms are experiences in a limb that no longer

The Effect Of Divorce On Children
The occurrence on divorce in our society today has left children emotionally and mentally hurt
by this. More and more studies have been done on to see if divorce has an effect on children. I
personally have had no effect of divorce, but I have had several friends who have been affected. I
had little knowledge about how impactful divorcecan have an affect on someone until I started
doing research on this topic. Divorce is very hard on people who have to deal with this. The
articles I have found to do research on all have something new and exciting to bring to the table.
Of the ones I have found, I believe they will help me to understand more of the struggles young

There will be times were the kids were getting restless or acted uninterested in the class and Mrs.
Manner will call them by their names and tell them to pay attention, if the behavior was repeated
she will say something along the lines of ; Mr., this is the second time, I had to call your attention,
and that usually made them stop and listen. When communicating nonverbally, she will open her
eyes wide to show appreciation for answering in a correct manner or will narrow her eyes to tell
children to control themselves.
Afterwards, the children who stayed in the rug will trace the letter assigned and make a picture
about it with Mrs. Manner. Yet the children in the round table with me, will be read a storyand I
was suppose to ask them questions about the story and sometimes we had to sing songs

about your: Height: My height has always been an issue. I m 5 feet 5 inches and in high school
