I wish to appoint you as a Conference Committee Chair of the Asian Conference on
Interdisciplinary Research (ACIR 2017) unless sooner revoked for valid cause or causes.
The conference with the theme, ““Sustainable and Regenerative Development for
Personal, Organizational and Community Wellness through Interdisciplinary Research”
will be staged at Bali, Indonesia on September 15-17, 2017.
This appointment recognizes your distinguished record in research with respect to your
academic background, leadership, research expertise, speakership and lectureship, research
awards, and peer review. As the chair of the ACIR conference committee, the scope of your
responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
a. Approve papers for oral presentation and journal publication;
b. Invite conference presenters;
c. Manage concurrent sessions and/or serve as judge in the concurrent sessions;
d. Document plenary and concurrent sessions and upload edited and compact version
in social media and other platforms;
e. Serve as one of the signatories in the invitations, certificates, awards and plaques;
f. Explore possibility of the organizers conducting a training or lecture to faculty and
students before and/or after the conference for local scholars and universities;
g. Explore opportunity for foreign delegates to be hosted by Balinese families on
September 14, 2017;
h. Organize ecotourism tourism, cultural sharing of participants with Balinese
scholars and religious clerics;
i. Write a message for the Conference Proceedings and Book of Abstracts;
j. Serve as member of the Editorial Board of the Conference Book of Abstracts; and
k. Prepare a short video invitation of the conference highlighting why participants
should experience Bali as an island and WOW Bali as a World Model which will be
posted in social media, websites and other platforms.
