Snapshot of Working Sequence
Procure inquiry from customer or sales channel
Arrange on-request site visit
Conduct technical inspection of the site
Submit technical documentation to the client
On approved documentation, complete the installation
Managing Enquiries
 Enquiries can reach to the customer department via:
 Sales and marketing channels
 Digital campaigns
 Referrals
 The customer department route the inquiry to the pre-sales team
 Based on pointers of the customer department, the pre-sales suggest the best
solution to the customer
 On mutual agreement, the pre-sales team coordinates with the technical
team and arrange on-site visit
Role of Technical Team
 On scheduled date, the team of technical department arrives at the site to:
 Assess the capacity requirement for the elevator
 Inspect the floor plan
 Check the installation point
 After completing the visit, a proposal is sent to the client with pricing,
warranty, and terms & conditions
Sales Team and Negotiations
 The sales team comes into action once the customer understands the proposal
 Follow-up is taken from the customer with answers to customer’s queries
 Negotiation is made on the final price offering and order is booked
 A mutually agreed non-refundable amount is procured from the customer as
confirmation of order placed
 The sales team do the necessary documentation on customer’s behalf
 An assurance of 30 days to submit technical/engineering drawings is given to
the customer
Technical Team into Action Again
 Based on order received from the sales team, the technical team prepare
drawings for installing:
 Cabin and cables
 Elevator machine
 Control drive
 Counterweight
 Hoist way
 Guide rails
 Speed governor
 Safety system
 Hydraulics
The Second Last Step
 Technical drawings are submitted to the customer
 The skilled man power prepares the site in 20-25 days
 Dry runs with safety norms are performed before putting elevator into service
 If requested by the customer then chargeable AMC is provided with complete
technical support and regular on site inspection
The Last Step
 After fulfilling all technical and safety standards, elevator put into service
 The final invoice is raised for the customer
 The deal is closed after clearance of the invoice
 Regular follow-ups are maintained with customer for feedback and any
upcoming requirements
