Before I started the MCBS Program, I was hired, as an assistant,
by a customer I served while I was a waitress at a restaurant

Little did I know, how great of an opportunity I had and how much more I
should have taken advantage of it. I had my own office and made my own hours
at 18 years old, but after some time I felt like it lacked the stimulation that I
needed.

I had always thought I wanted to be in a position that I knew lacked
creativity but that would leave me with resources to have crafty
hobbies.

But then, after working for many years and knowing that there were many to
come, I knew I needed to be challenged creatively in many aspects of my life not
just on the side.

I had always been really intrigued by the witty commercials I saw on television
and in psychology loved learning about how the placement of certain items within
a store could promote customers to buy a product.

Because of that, I added “Start School” to my New Year’s Resolution. I felt like
this year would be a great year for me. To accomplish the things that I felt like I
should have at my age.

I wanted to push myself and get out of my comfort zone.

Because of that, I started looking into degree programs that would fit me and
what I wanted to do in the future.

I wanted to incorporate both art, psychology, and business in one.

Because of that, I came across Full Sail University and their accelerated
program in a didactic learning environment that reflected my need for creativity.

I actually had started working for Full Sail before I thought that it would be
awesome to pursue a degree from there also.

Until finally, I enrolled in the MCBS degree program in February of 2013 in
hopes of becoming a competitive candidate for my dream job.

I would love to be someone who could be in a leadership team helping
brand new and upcoming products.

And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media, I am literally
baffled by the psychology behind marketing and will never look at a commercial
the same.

I know that it's something that caught me attention but as I learn more I
become more and more curious.
