This project aims to develop a wireless remote control system using infrared communication to control home appliances like washing machines from a distance. The system uses a TV remote as the infrared transmitter and a TSOP receiver. It works with two microcontrollers - a master controller that receives signals from the receiver and sends infrared signals to a slave controller, which then controls the load and displays information on an LCD screen based on the motor's rotation direction for on/off functions.

Power Theft Identification and Monitoring using GSM module
developed the system were we are using Arduino Atmega328 and current sensors and GSM module attached to every pole. The current sensor keeps the track of amount of current pass through it. When this supply reaches to other end of the pole than the current sensor available at pole 2 will measure the current receive and gives the reading to the Arduino Atmega328. Then the Arduino compares the current readings to the previous readings and if the supply is not approximately equal than the Atmega328 trigger the GSM module. Then the GSM module will send the SMS to the distributor that the amount of current received is not approximately equal and there is some illegal action occurred in the section from pole 1 to pole 2. This will help the distributor to overcome the losses and where the losses will be take place and the theft of the electricity

A ZigBee Based Wireless Sensor Network for an Agricultural Environment
This paper reports the design and development of a smart wireless sensor network (WSN) for an agricultural environment. Monitoring agricultural environments for various factors such as light, temperature and humidity along with other factors can be of significance. The sensor data is transmitted to network coordinator which is heart of the wireless personal area network. In the modern scenario wireless networks contains sensors as well as actuators. ZigBee is newly developed technology that works on IEEE standard 802.15.4, which can be used in the wireless sensor network (WSN). The low data rates, low power consumption, low cost are main features of ZigBee. WSN is composed of ZigBee coordinator (network coordinator), ZigBee router and ZigBee end device. The sensor nodes information in the network will be sent to the coordinator, the coordinator collects sensor data, stores the data in memory, process the data, and route the data to appropriate node.

The infrared sensors are used to sense the live persons. All the above systems are controlled by the Microcontroller. In our project we are using the popular 8 bit microcontroller. Abstract:
This project aims at designing a robot, which has freedom of movement along all the 3 axes and its motion is controlled by means of wheels. The user can control the movements using a Cellphone from a remote place. The system is made more useful by introducing artificial intelligence to it. By artificial intelligence, we mean designing the robot is such a manner that in situation which require decision making, the robot identifies the presence of the obstacle, alerts the user and moreover awaits instruction from the user for the further action. Other condition, which the robot can determine, is presence of fire. I.e., high temperature and presence of metals in vicinity.
IRJET- Design & Implementation of RF based Fire Fighting Robot

Obstacle Avoiding Robot
Robotics is a branch of science that deals with Mechanical, Electrical and Software fields. Robots are the machines that are used in our day-to-day to life to reduce men power and work accurately without any distortions. Robots can be classified into two different sections basing upon their skills as Automated and Manual. Obstacle detector is a Automated robot which itself recognizes the obstacle in its path and moves in free direction. Robot detects the obstacle by using two IR Sensors placed in front.
The IR sensors are placed on left and right side of the robot through which continuous Infrared radiation is emitted for detection of obstacles in the path. These IR Sensors are connected to a controlling element AT89c51 µc. When a obstacle is placed in the path of robot IR beam is reflected to the sensor from the obstacle. On detecting obstacle in the path sensor sends 0 volts to µc. This 0 voltage is detected by Microcontroller which avoids the obstacle by taking left or right turn. Similarly if the sensor sends +5v to Microcontroller, the Microcontroller assumes it as clear path and makes the robot to move in straight.
Two motors namely right motor and left motor are connected to Motor driver IC (L293D). L293D is interface with Microcontroller. Microcontroller sends logic 0 & logic 1 as per the programming to driver IC which makes motors to rotate in clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Wheels attached to the motors rotate accordingly with the motor shaft causing in the moment of the robot by wheels. In front portion of the robot a free wheel is attached to move the robot easily in any direction as per the requirement.
A 12Volts DC battery is attached to the circuit. As the microcontroller and sensors requires only 5v, set of resistors and capacitors are used to supply 5v DC to them. Power Management System is not maintained in the circuit as the battery can be removed after the usage of robot. So it does not cause any loss in the power of battery.
This type of robots has multiple applications in various fields. They can be used to know the strength of the opposite army in defense system. They can be used as floor and wall cleaners. They are used in automated GPS vehicles to calculate the moment of the vehicle overhead. These robots are easy to construct and cheaper in cost with long durability.

The rover can detect obstacles and estimate temperature and humidity using sensors. It communicates with a PC using Zigbee and RF protocols. The rover is capable of picking and placing objects using grippers and is controlled reliably using an LPC2148 processor. It uses ultrasonic, temperature, and humidity sensors to measure various parameters at distances up to 100 meters without human intervention in hostile environments.

This system uses works on Infra red radiation as wireless system.TV remote is used for IR radiation transmitter to control appliances. TSOP receiver is used in this application. This projects works on two micro controllers, one micro controller is used as master and other works as slave. Receiver will send signals to master micro controller and Infra red signals are send to slave micro controller which will send information to LCD display. Master micro controller will handle load using a driving circuit. On or Off of the system will be controlled by the stepper motor. On and Off will depend on the direction motor will rotate.
