INTRODUCTION
• We deal with the automatic recharging of mobile phones by use
of microwaves.
• The microwaves signal is transmitted from the transmitter along
with the message signal using slotted wave guide antenna at a
frequency is 2.45GHZ.
• There are addition of a sensor ,a “rectenna” ,& a filter to the
mobile handset.
• The need for separate chargers for mobile phones is eliminated
& makes charging universal.

U Band 40 to 60 GHz
V Band 46 to 56 GHz
W Band 56 to 100 GHz
MAIN COMPONENTS
 There are 4 main components are below
1. Microwave generator
2. Slotted waveguide antenna
3. Sensor circuit
4. Rectenna
MICROWAVE GENERATOR
 This is used to generates the microwaves of preferred
frequency .
 It is generates microwaves by the interaction of steam of
elections and magnetic field.
TRANSMMITING ANTENNA
• This is used to transfer the signal from free space to the
device.
• There are many slotted wave guide antenna available.
• Like parabolic dish antenna, micro strip antennas are the
popular type of transmitting antenna.
• There is parabolic dish antenna used.
SENSOR CIRCUIT
• The sensor circuit is a simple circuit, which detects if the
mobile phone receives any massage signal.
• This is required , as the phone has to be charged as long as
the user is talking.
• There is F to V convert would act as switch to trigger the
rectenna circuit to on.
RECTENNA
SYSTEM DESIGN
The system designing of wireless charging of mobile phones
using microwaves mainly consist of four parts are
1. Transmitter design
2. Receiver design
3. process of rectification
4. Inductive charging
TRANSMITTER DESIGN
RECEIVER DESIGN
PROCESS OF RECTIFICATION
ADVANTAGES
• Use of separate chargers is eliminated .
• Electricity is saved .
• The phone can be charged anywhere anytime.
• Charge the phone by bluetooth so low risk of electrical
shocks or shorting.
• Charging of mobile phones is done wirelessly.
DISADVANTAGES
• Network traffic may cause problems in charging.
• Wireless transmission of the energy cause some drastic
effect to human body, because of its radiation.
• Charging depends on network coverage.
APPLICATIONS
Wireless charging works well with
• Mobile phones
• digital camera
• media players
• blutooth headsets.
FUTURE SCOPE
• In future RECTENNA is used to produce large-scale
power from microwaves beam.
• currently researches are going on, to implement this
technology for laptops.

INTRODUCTION • We deal with the automatic recharging of mobile phones by use of microwaves. • The microwaves signal is transmitted from the transmitter along with the message signal using slotted wave guide antenna at a frequency is 2.45GHZ. • There are addition of a sensor ,a “rectenna” ,& a filter to the mobile handset. • The need for separate chargers for mobile phones is eliminated & makes charging universal.

  • 5. MAIN COMPONENTS  There are 4 main components are below 1. Microwave generator 2. Slotted waveguide antenna 3. Sensor circuit 4. Rectenna
  • 6. MICROWAVE GENERATOR  This is used to generates the microwaves of preferred frequency .  It is generates microwaves by the interaction of steam of elections and magnetic field.
  • 7. TRANSMMITING ANTENNA • This is used to transfer the signal from free space to the device. • There are many slotted wave guide antenna available. • Like parabolic dish antenna, micro strip antennas are the popular type of transmitting antenna. • There is parabolic dish antenna used.
  • 8. SENSOR CIRCUIT • The sensor circuit is a simple circuit, which detects if the mobile phone receives any massage signal. • This is required , as the phone has to be charged as long as the user is talking. • There is F to V convert would act as switch to trigger the rectenna circuit to on.
  • 10. SYSTEM DESIGN The system designing of wireless charging of mobile phones using microwaves mainly consist of four parts are 1. Transmitter design 2. Receiver design 3. process of rectification 4. Inductive charging
  • 14. ADVANTAGES • Use of separate chargers is eliminated . • Electricity is saved . • The phone can be charged anywhere anytime. • Charge the phone by bluetooth so low risk of electrical shocks or shorting. • Charging of mobile phones is done wirelessly.
  • 15. DISADVANTAGES • Network traffic may cause problems in charging. • Wireless transmission of the energy cause some drastic effect to human body, because of its radiation. • Charging depends on network coverage.
  • 16. APPLICATIONS Wireless charging works well with • Mobile phones • digital camera • media players • blutooth headsets.
  • 17. FUTURE SCOPE • In future RECTENNA is used to produce large-scale power from microwaves beam. • currently researches are going on, to implement this technology for laptops.
