Wipro work in education is based on the guiding principles that (a) It must
contribute to systemic or institutional improvement in education and / or
(b) It should address the needs of underserved and underprivileged

Wipro Cares works with partners who oversee the delivery of good quality
primary health care services to underserved communities covering more
than 75,000 people in 53 villages across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra
Pradesh & Uttarakhand.
C. Ecology & Environment
Wipro initiated the “Participative Community Water Program” in the
Sarjapur area in Bangalore which is completely dependent on groundwater.
The initiative seeks to involve proximate communities in a unique citizen-
led governance model of groundwater.

Broadly speaking, a truly ethical company is one that is not causing
damage to the environment, exploiting its workforce by paying low
wages, using child labour, or producing products which are harmful or
dangerous.

In 2005, Greenpeace activists protested outside Wipro's Sarjapur Road
campus for the company's use of hazardous substances in its hardware
products and the absence of a take-back policy. On November 2012, the
same environment activist group released a report that ranked Wipro No.
1 -- above HP, Apple and Dell -- in a list of the greenest electronics
companies in the world.
Wipro won points for its commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG)
emissions by 44% by 2015. The company outperformed its 2010 target of
9% reduction in GHG, and achieved 11%.

Wipro does it's best to make sure that it's employees are highly skilled.
Training is one of the advantages of working at Wipro. Wipro doesn't
compromise in providing resources to trainees. The flexibility to switch
roles and explore newer areas of interest is tremendous and a great
benefit of being working at Wipro. Wipro also provides training to the
freshers. It is essentially very helpful to those who don’t have computer
background like guys who didn’t take computers as a subject in schools
and/or belonged to a non-circuit branch in Engineering. The idea behind
this training is to bring the computer guys and the non-computer guys to
the same level before starting to work for Wipro.

11. Conclusion
Considering all the information and facts mentioned before, we came
to conclusion that Wipro is an ethical company. Do note that whether a
company is being ethical or not depends upon people's perceptions.
We, according to our research, believe that Wipro is an ethical
company but you all might not. It's a matter of different perceptions.
Some people may agree that Wipro is an ethical company but some
people may disagree. Thus, it is not possible for any company to be
100% ethical.
