1. Will LED solution help India out of power
shortage ？
As India media reported ,responded the government plan that
replacing the common lighting to LED ,they will save about 6 billion
dollars for the lighting spending till 2018.
The news was presented by India government electric power，coal,
new energy & renewable energy minister Mr.Piyush Goyal at Harvard
College US India Initiative in Mumbai.
"Predicting about 7.1 hundreds million rupee comment lighting
replaced to LED lighting ,what will save 100 billion watt electric
power "said the minister.
In India , the the lighting power holds 18% capacity in whole country
electric power .However, the global average level is only 13%.If
large-scale LED lighting was adopted, that would helpto not only
save 50%-70% electric power ,but also reduce India electric power
occupancy rate &carbon emissions ,even lower than the global
level ,which under the condition of no need to build up additional
power plants.

2. On the other hand ,LED road light is one of the branches.Till
nowadays ,350,000 thousandcommon road lights have been set up
by the India government which expend 3400 billion watt total.India
government figure out that,if all the common road lights replaced to
LED , the expending power will decrease to 1400 billion
watt,dropping range about 60%.
Mr.Piyush Goyal also figure out "Ever unit power we saved ,it will
help to light the whole family in the poverty-stricken area.Hope all of
us can use the LED from now on."
He pointed out that ,India is the country which extreme lack of
electricity and there are about 2.5 hundredmillions people are out of
electric power at present.If we changed 7.7 hundredmillions common
tungsten filament lamp to LED, we will save 1000 Energy Unit in all .

3. Knowing so much electric power poverty
suffering in India,we can do something that so
easy in our daily life but helpful& friendly to our
global village .
What should we do in daily life?
1.Cut off the television power when we dont use it. Help to save
20-40 kilowatt/hour per month.
2.Decreasing the washing time when we use the washing machine.We
can steep the dirty clothes 20 mins in advance.
3.Decreasing the air machine using time,which is one of the most
wasting electric power machine in our house.
Every 1 kilowatt/hour ,we can use it :
lighting the 25w lamp for 40 hours ;
or running the common refrigerator whole day;
or watching our favorite program on TV for 10 hours;
or boiling the 8kg water ;
or driving the electric bike for 80km
