find various kinds of animals in nature.
Different climate and flora are important factors in that diversity.
Here we will just give information about four of them.
SIVAS KANGAL
2. The Kangal is a guardian dog, originating from the Kangal district
in Sivas Province of Turkey.
The Sivas Kangal Dog's protectiveness, loyalty and gentleness with
small children and animals has led to its growing popularity as a
guardian for families as well.
3. ANATOLIAN LEOPARD
The Anatolian leopard was a distinct leopard subspecies native
to southwestern Turkey.
Today they still live in our country but they are about to
become extinct.
4. It is believed to be one of the most endangered mammals
in the world.
The species has gone extinct in the Sea of Marmara due to
pollution and heavy ship traffic from the Dardanelles and
the Bosphorus.
Nowadays, its entire population is estimated to be less than
600 individuals.
They live in caves and rocks .

5. The Northern Bald Ibis is a migratory bird found in barren, semi-
desert or rocky habitats.
In Turkey they live in Birecik Şanlıurfa. The Turkish
populatcison is now numbers around 100.
They can feed on any available animal including insects,
scorpions,lizards and snakes. It will also feed on berries,plants.
