2. Kudler Fine Foods Service Request
Service Request
Kudler Fine Foods (KFF), a virtual organization from the University of Phoenix
(2008), is interested in developing and deploying a customer tracking system through
a Kudler Frequent Shopper Program (KFSP) that would provide KFF data on
shopping habits of cliental and in return provides customers with high end incentives
for shopping. The project will require the determination of requirements from KFF
and their client base and a system analysis. This paper follows a systems analysis
process by exploring business objectives and models, current and proposed system
analysis, project constraints, functional requirements, cost benefit analysis, and
design requirements with the assumed delivery being to an executive management ...

The measurement for success could exist by cross checking the number of attendees
at promoted events with events from pre KFSP data.
Lastly, to gauge program success, KFF could also implement a suggestion program
where the company takes information from customer transactions and based from
that data make suggestions of like or similar foods that may appeal to that same
customer. The store could use the suggestion series foods as a way to gauge
program success by tracking the sales of the suggested foods with pre and post level
timetables and inventory levels.
Project Feasibility
The feasibility analysis looks at the specific operational, technical, and economic
feasibility of KFSP program. KFF expects this program, designed to track frequent
shopper purchase trends and reward frequent shoppers, to increase KFF projected
revenue by 4.75% according to the KFF 2007 sales plan. With net sales of
$10796200, this would equal out to $512819.5 (University of Phoenix, 2008). This
projected increase in revenue almost equals the net income for KFF. No information
exists on startup costs for the program.
There should be minimal cost associated with hardware as most rewards programs
in place use barcode or magnetic strip cards and readers. All the registers already
have the necessary hardware. Software will be a small cost as well as training for
the information technology (IT) staff to run the software on KFF s
3. Absolute Value Of A Number
Absolute Value: The absolute value of a number is equal to the distance between the
number and zero on a numbers line. The absolute value of a positive number is the
same number, and of a negative number is the opposite of the number. The sign

operation sign is (+).
Approximation: Approximation is guessing the rough of a number instead of exactly
knowing it. Approximation is widely used by many individuals on a daily basis.
Arithmetic: Arithmetic is the branch of mathematics that deals with combining
numbers by division, multiplication, subtraction, and addition operations.
Borrowing: Borrowing in subtraction, is to take one from a digit in the minuend to
add as ten to the digit with the next lower place value in the minuend.
Carrying: Carrying is to move numbers from a given place value to the next greater
place. When the results of addition or multiplication are a number greater than nine,
the number is regrouped in the next column.

The trading networks of the 17th and the 18th centuries, probably the reason America
is here and why we re Americans. That is because this trade was a new type of trade,
international trade or involving the whole world in one network, mass production,
diversity, and mixing of cultures. As a result of such trading networks the western
hemisphere was now being populated more heavily and the first colonies where
starting to form. Documents2, and 4 describes how Chinese greed for silver changed

This changed patterns of trade deficit where before it was on the Portuguese it was
now on China who were pouring out everything in exchange for only silver which
they didn t even reinvest in their economy. This source isn t that reliable mainly
because it was written by a British merchant who tried convincing Britain into
joining trade. Therefore it was a secondary document from the outside looking in
so all data may not be correct. Thus the global distribution of silver greatened the
connection between the west and the east eliminating old patterns of trade deficit.
In the documents 3, 1, 5, and 6 they discuss how when silver came into the picture
many payment and old money accounting methods changed. Document 3 talks
about how in China the economy began to fall due to cheaper grain harvest. The
reason that the harvest was cheaper is because the taxes where now forced to be
paid in silver which China dispersed very little silver into the economy. It is a
reliable document because elders of villages directly told Wang Xijue a court
official of China about the first hand suffering of its people. Document 1 states how
the introduction of silver to China created much greed and whoever has a lot can
never have enough but whoever has little has enough. That is because of the
suffering brought on by silver whoever had a little needed to worry

6. Tinea Pedis Research Paper
Microbial diseases on the human skin are very common. This is because the skin
is the body s first line of defense against pathogens. This physical barrier is almost
impossible for pathogens to enter, however, when there are breaks on the skin or
constant moisture, the skin can become a comfortable home for many bacterial
populations. In this case, Tinea Pedis, also known as Athlete s Foot is one of the
main microbial diseases known to thrive on feet where constant warmth, dirt and
moisture occurs. In this essay, different aspects of tinea pedis such as, what causes
this disease, which organ system is affected, the signs and symptoms of this disease,
how it is spread, how it impacts the general population, and most importantly how to
prevent tinea pedis will be considered.

The main entry is through the skin s surface. A healthy person can contract the
fungus from a person who is infected through skin contact. It can also be passed
from any contaminated surfaces including floors, clothing, socks, shoes, bed sheets,
towels, and public showers. The average time it takes for tinea pedis to grow is
about two to four weeks. The fungus spreads by shedding, tiny seed like, spores.
They reproduce throughout the infected area and attack the dead skin cells
Impact on the general population
Epidemiology studies show that tinea pedis is thought to be the world s most
common dermatophytosis. Reportedly, 70% of the population will be infected with
tinea pedis at some time in their life. Usually, tinea pedis affects more men compared
to women. Also, the prevalence of tinea pedis increases with age thus, most cases
occur after puberty. Other studies brought out that the global increase in tinea pedis
is likely due to increases in urbanization and the use of sports and fitness facilities.

7. The Second Chapter Of Utilitarianism, By John Stuart Mill
In the second chapter of Utilitarianism , John Stuart Mill argues against the
misconceptions held by detractors of utilitarianism through definition. Mill defines
utilitarianism through the concept of the Greatest Happiness Principle, in which the
outcome which will serve the happiness and utility of the most people, thus creating
the greatest overall happiness, remains the optimal choice; through this definition,
Mill rejects the misapprehension that utilitarianismopposes pleasure, showing the true
intent in utilitarian philosophy lying within pleasure itself, as the Greatest Happiness
Principle advocates a universal pleasure in lieu of pleasure for only one s self.
Morality within utilitarianism, according to Mill, sees the concept of

9. Analysis Of Do The Right Thing
There are many films in this world that tackle the topic of race. It is an unfortunate
truth that leads to many options when choosing a film to show to the students of Coe
College. With a large majority of the students at Coe being white, choosing a film that
addresses the themes of racism in the 20th century is something that can be a
sensitive subject. It is the reason that a film that addresses tension among different
raceon a block in Bed Sty is the most appropriate for the audience at Coe College.
The film Do The Right Thing, directed by Spike Lee, challenges the characters in the
film, along with the audience viewing the film to form opinions on sensitive subjects
and to do the right thing in a difficult situation.Spike Lee uses the film, Do The Right
Thing, to address racial tension in the 20th centurythrough his use of color, camera
framing and narrative. One of the most striking scenes begins in the first forty
minutes of the film. The scene starts off with the music becoming slow and
haunting, a difference from the high beat music that was playing before, while a
police car slowly drives down the street in the neighborhood of mostly people of
color. The camera then cuts to the three black men who sit on the corner, Sweet
Dick Willie, Coconut Sid, and ML. The camera pans across the three faces, all
showing critical glares at the police car. The policeman in the passenger seat is then
shown, displaying a similar glare to the black men. The tension can be felt in
10. Words And Manipulation In Othello
Shakespeare s Othello explores the realm of manipulation and mischief through the
power of words. Throughout the play, speeches serve as pivot points to show
Othello s transformation from a pure general to a paranoid, lesser Iago. In the
beginning of the play, Othello, general of the Venetian army, addresses the Senate as
a humble man with nothing to hide. Accused of witchcraft, he explains how he won
over Desdemonawith his words, not magic. After a succession of manipulations by
Iago, Othelloslowly morphs into Iago. After Desdemona fails to provide Othello
with the handkerchief, Othello s transformation was completed. Iago s use of words
and manipulation is the driving factor for removing Othello from a stable place of
mind. In essence,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What qualities does Iago embody to truly make him Iago? After exploring how
Iago pulled off this power grab, it can be inferred that Iago is more than a man.
Iago is a state of mind. Iago s character is a symbol for the conflicts individuals face
internally with their own egos. Othello, a man of power of might, cannot command
a marriage or relationship the same way he can command his men on a battlefield.
He cannot see past the current moment. Othello is drowning in doubt and anxiety
while burning with rage and angst. Iago is an evolving virus that can be spread
through the mouth. Instead of spreading through saliva, it can be spread through
word alone. Inside the minds of those who house self doubt or anxiety, it only takes
a match to ignite a forest fire of outward and inward
11. The Best Year Of My Life
The year was 1852, the best year of my life, when I met her, but first let me start
from the beginning. First of all I am Edwin, hi. At the time of 1852 I was twelve
years old, living in Victorian England, with my family. My family consisted of my
father, mother, and I. We were very poor and trying to survive, so my father
worked in the coal mine, my mom worked in a factory, and I worked as a chimney
sweeper. Since I was twelve it was my last year as a chimney sweeper, since I was
outgrowing the chimneys. This was a good thing, but very bad at the same time. It
was good because being a chimney sweeper was hard work, but it will be much
harder to provide money for my family. Well, enough about me let s get into the
story. It all started on September 18, 1852. I said goodbye to my parents before I
left for work. When I got to work I was assigned a chimney to sweep. When I got
there I went right to work of cleaning out the soot and ashes from the chimney.
While Carl was holding the rope as I was in the chimney his hands slip, at least that
s what he says. Carl never really liked me much, he has worked for the Master Sweep
for fourteen years. He is just always in a bad mood around me. Aaaahhh! I
exclaimed while falling down the seven foot chimney, landing on my knees with a
loud crash . Ouch, that hurt like being stung on the bottom by a bee, I said to myself.
Oh my are you okay? Asked a nice girl. Ya I will live, I replied. When I looked up I

16. Theme Of Balzac And The Little Chinese Seamstress
Love is the one of the most powerful feelings one can experience. The other feeling
is fear. When a situation combines the both of them, which will prevail? The passage
chosen comes from Dai Sijie s Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress where the
Narrator experiences this struggle after being attacked and returning to an empty
home. Only a fantasy about the Little Seamstress could remedy the gloom which
hangs over him. The passageillustrates that the Narrator has a deep longing for the
Little Seamstress but his respectful attitude towards her due to an underlying fear;
which reveals his utter obedience.
The assault on the Narrator took a heavy toll on his mind, sending him into
depression. The Narrator ends up in an all time low and in a state of emptiness.
The Narrator describes his house as lonely and bleak with the rancid smell of
desolation in the air. The gloomy diction reveals the feeling of isolation engulfing
the Narrator as an expansive nothingness is felt inside of his small house. In an
attempt to cure himself, the Narrator attempted to read his favourite novel but it was
impossible to concentrate on. This selection of detail explains that nothing real, even
if he deeply cared about it, would remedy the displeasure he was feeling. The
oppressive smell of desolation would not resolve as a result the Narrator was flooded
with rage once again. This ominous and powerful diction depicts the overwhelming
nature of the events surrounding the Narrator
17. The Art Of Miro s The Harlequin Carnival
In 1923, there was huge change in Miro s style and art like moving into more forms
and sign, geometric shapes and an overall rythm of his paintings. Miro is not at all
orthodox surrealist. Miro made a pictorial sign language through the mid 1920s which
became a style throughout his career. By this he made a paintingnamed The
Harlequin Carnival of 1924 25. There is a clear continuation of lines in this painting
which is not much seen in his other works. There is no focal point in this painting
which was done in traditional painting. This composition is encompassed with
figures and forms equally in places. In left side it includes snakes, fly, ladder,
cylinder, cone, sphere, a white palm, a violin shaped human figure with a circular
head etc.

The Human Genome Project (HGP), an international scientific research project, has
educated the public tremendously on various topics concerning DNA and genetics.
This study has been beneficial to communities alike. As stated, the HGP sought to
identify all the genes in human DNA, determine the sequences of the three billion
chemical base pairs that make up human DNA, store this information in databases,
improve tools for data analysis, transfer related technologies to the private sector, and
address the ethical, legal, and social issues that may arise from the project. In favor of
achieving these goals, scientists studied the genetic makeup of several nonhuman
organisms (Human GenomeManagement Information System, 2011).

Due to scientist s interest in human genetic variation, human racial classification
became a focus of scientific investigation by evolutionary biologists attempting to
categorize individual humans based on presumed patterns of biological difference.
Scientists had hoped to classify humans in the same way that they classified other
species. These scientists attached hierarchical titles to these categorizations; they
claimed that differences in skin color, physiognomy, and geography were associated
with scientifically measurable differences in character, aptitude, and temperament
(Smedley, 1998). However, studies supporting these claims have been unsound
(Gould, 1981). Categorization of humans by racial and ethnic groups continues, as
researchers must remain aware of this historical legacy of the science of heredity as
the genomic era continues to develop (Bonham et al., 2005).
Although the HGP has been informative to the public, especially when it comes to
racial variations in disorders and genetic reflected illnesses, there are ways it may be
used to harm rather than help human development. Due to the information obtained
through the research, the stigma related to illnesses or disorders may be closely
associated with certain ethnic or racial backgrounds. This can have negative effects
on ethnic groups, in that some people may already believe they are pre exposed to
an illness.

21. The Negative Speech On Famine And Drought
Introduction: (Charlotte)
We would like to begin by thanking the United Nations for giving us this
opportunity to speak. Joining me today are Julia Antony, Ian Rose, and Ryan
Amer. We are here to discuss the large topic of famine and drought. Drought is
defined as, A long period of time during which there is very little or no rain (First
picture). These two problems alone are some of the largest overarching issues that
our world is facing right now and have been for centuries. At this stage, no one can
ignore the fact that 110 people have died in the last 48 hours at the hand of famine
and drought. (Second picture) Not to mention that in Somalia, more than 900,000
children are malnourished; that alone is more than the entire population of children
in Connecticut. Now over to you, Julia. *transition to next slide. Body 1: (Julia)
Thanks Charlotte. Extreme rain loss in areas all over the world causes intense
droughts. Multiple complications occur when water is no longer abundant. One
of the most severe conflicts caused by this terrible drought is famine. Famine,
described as an extreme scarcity of food, affects over 6.2 million people in
Somalia alone. We are still trying to work out how we ended up here, what we
missed, what we did wrong , announced UNICEF senior nutrition manager Peter
Harris. ( A Famine We Made , researchIT CT) Additionally, if not helped, it is said
that over 100,000 Somalis will die in the next few weeks. Little aid is being received
in this region,
22. Examples Of Phenomenal Concepts
Phenomenal concepts are concepts about our conscious experience that we form
introspectively. They too are necessary in order for someone to attend to her own
feelings, one needs some degree of conceptualization, or else one would be blind to
their own feelings just like children are blind to numbers. Phenomenal concept
*red* is the concept of the specific type of sensation someone has typically upon
looking at red things. It is drastically different from the concept *red*, for this
concept refers to red things. It is also different from the concept *the sensation
caused by red things* for one can feel red upon looking at green things, for example.
Phenomenal concepts are also distinct from psychological concepts. The latter is
characterized in terms of a functional analysis of the concept, that is, in terms of
causal functional relations with other states. Consider the psychological concept of
*sweetness* and the phenomenal concept of *sweetness*p. The psychological
concept can be... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

these concepts are experience dependent: *one can only possess a phenomenal
concept C if one undergoes the relevant experience about what the concept is
about*. Besides the experience thesis, a second candidate to play the special feature
in phenomenal concepts are their different *reference fixing mechanisms*. Now we
want to explore both of those features. I will begin by exploring the experience
thesis, for it seems to be a general commitment shared by some of the phenomenal

23. Analysis Of Ben Jonson s Ode To Shakespeare
This week s lecture is focused on Ben Jonson, his love hate relationship with
Shakespeare, his lyric poetry, Jonson s purpose, Jonson s life, and Volpone .
Jonson was constantly compared to Shakespeare which is often deemed as unfair.
Sadly. Jonson was always second best even though they were two different people
with different writing styles, temperament, artistic interests, etc.. However, this
could be due to working around each other and always being in the same
surroundings. There were times when Jonson would hint at Shakespeare in his
work but would often try to make Shakespeare look bad in order to boost his ego. In
my opinion, I do not blame Jonson for doing this because he was tired of being
compared to someone who was around... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In my opinion, I think it was wonderful that Jonson was able to achieve this because I
am sure after being compared to Shakespeare constantly that he needed something
that he could call his own achievement.
Next, Jonson s purpose was didactic. Didactic is defined the intent to teach or
lecture others while having a moral instruction as one s ulterior motive. Jonson
was seen as a public poet. I believe his used his poetry to teach others his neo
classical virtues. He believed his poems could be used as examples to introduce
people to wisdom, honesty, and his version of a good life. In my opinion, I think
that Jonson s poems could be used as a template to show people how to live a
better life or to show the moral of the story. I think he was trying to teach others to
embrace a good moral standing. One could say that his ulterior motive was to teach
people ethical principles and artistic standards because he believed that someone of
his standing should feel responsible to show others that they should follow these
rules. However, Jonson believed that his purpose was to defined the good life but
according to the lecture this would mean that Jonson would have to discover his self
knowledge and that it would have to be constant.
Next, Ben Jonson was born in London around June of 1572. Although, his father died
two months before his birth, Jonson was able to attend Westminster School but only
for a short time. Afterwards, he decided to follow in his stepfather s footprints
24. The Theme of Growth in Exodus Essay
The Theme of Growth in Exodus
Exodus, by Leon Uris, is a novel of genuine Affirmation. One of the most prevalent of
the affirmative themes is the idea of growth. Many of the characters learn a lot about
themselves, and change tremendously in a positive way. Earlier in their lives, these
characters decided to live their life one way, but throughout the book they change, and
join each other to unite. Fighting for their common religion and fundamental rights
brought them together in a way that is barely imaginable.
In Exodus, Mr. Uris shows that a common belief can bring people together, and
which leads to personal growth. During the course of the story, the characters who
show the most growth are Ari Ben Canaan, Kitty Fremont, ... Show more content on

Years later, after meeting Kitty Fremont, Ari loves her, but cannot tell her so. It is
impossible for him to admit his feelings so easily, even though truthfully he loves
her more deeply than he loved Dafna. Through their experiences together, they
build a friendship, and both of them want more than that but neither will admit it.
What brings them to finally accept each other is the death of Karen, which finally
made Ari question his ideals, after everyone has died. Ari breaks down and cries,
something he has never done before. He is not ready to completely change his
ways, he says to Kitty, ...it may be forever before I can ever again say that my need
for you comes first, before all other things...before the needs of this country. (page
599). But still, he has taken a giant leap and shown his emotions, which shows a great
amount of growth on his part.
Kitty Fremont also shows growth in her relationship with Ari, but she personally
grows more with her views on involvement with the Jewish movement, and by being
able to separate herself from Karen. In both of these areas, Kitty starts out with one
point of view, and is able to expand her thoughts to include what is best for everyone.
At first, Kitty wants nothing to do with the whole thing, Everything connected with

25. The Invisible Wom Eve s Self Image In Paradise Lost
This chapter is mainly focuses on responding to John Milton s paradise lost. Milton
s depiction of Eve reflects his misogynistic attitude toward women. Adam is a
powerful, rational, and curious persona. Eve is is defined in terms of her
subordination, inferiority, inequality to Adam. Both eve and the animals are subject
to Adam s reign and control. Jonathan Whitfield, in her article The Invisible Woman:
Eve s Self Image in Paradise Lost, maintains that:
Through the eyes of the epic poem s only major female character, the problem of

The Power of a Picture
One of the most intriguing and influential images included in Citizen by Claudia
Rankine is the image entitled Blue Black Boy. Blue Black Boy is a visual work of
art created by Carrie Mae Weems in 1990 s; Weems is a very successful female
African American artist. Through a close reading of the image, I was able to derive
meaning out of the various aspects that work together to create such an eloquent work
of art. In its formal aspects, Blue Black Boy has several important ingredients that
lead to its overall meaning. To start, the first thing I noticed is the vibrant white shirt
the African Americanboy is wearing; it really stuck out to me and was brought into
the foreground of the image. This immediately connected with ideas mentioned
earlier in Rankine s book, _______ (Rankine __). The white shirt as with the white
background make the subject stand out and a ripe target for scrutiny. Another very
intriguing aspect of the image is the words under each of the sequential identical
pictures of the boy. Under the first picture is the word blue with the others being
black and boy respectively. I believe Weems is implying how... Show more content

Losing a loved one can be a traumatic situation in anyone s life. The bereavement
process can take a tremendous toll on a person. There are no gender, age, sex, color

emotional state of a person and can sometimes be so extreme that it can alter the
health of a human being. Griefcounselingeases the bereavement process by providing

pennies at the register. Some argue that we should phase out pennies because the
value is so little that no one uses them; In fact, the face value of the penny is so little
that it costs more to produce it. Because of the downsides to the continued production
of the penny, we ought to phase the penny out. One reason pennies should be

dishwashing machines that were bought five years ago or a decade ago because
the newest devices are way better with its efficiency, cleaning performance and

years. With cheaper and older washing machines, you had to pre rinse your dishes.
But now here we present you 5 most useful and money worth dish washer in 2016
with the best brands.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST DISHWASHER?
CONVENIENCE
The most important thing while choosing the best dishwasher is the ease of its use.
For the top dishwashers, it means convenient loading.
CAPACITY
If you are about to buy a built in dishwasher, the proper consideration is a standard
24 inches model. This one is a good option for twelve to fourteen place settings.
There you also have 18 inches built in dishwashers, but they are better for a small
kitchen of a small family who will use dishwashing machines seldom. Countertop
portable dishwasher is great for small families and couples, because it supports 4 6
place settings
MULTIPLE CYCLES
You need to consider such a washing machine that allows you to adjust racks having
many silverware slots and fold down tines. A dishwasher with multiple cycles is that
s why recommended. The ideal dishwasher is that adapts to the food it has to be
cleaned and the type of the dishes

The Federal Reserve Act was signed into law on December 23, 1913. Due to a series
of financial panics around 1907, the Federal Reserve (also referred to as the Fed ) was
created by Congress to promote a stable banking system and an active economy. The
Federal Reserves greatest client and biggest spender is the government of the United
States. All proceeds from taxes generated and disbursements are managed through the
account that the United States government has set up with the Federal Reserve. The
Fed operates independently of the government; however, the Feds jurisdiction
originates from Congress and the Fed is subject to congressional supervision.
Furthermore The President nominates the members of the Board of Governors which
must be confirmed by the Senate. The salaries of the Fed are also set and appointed
by the government. Although the Fed can exercise freedom in monetary
determinations, the existing relationship with the government invites corruption

K.A. Kitchen names nine differences and seven similarities in the two traditions.
The two narratives claim that the decision to send the flood as punishment was
divine (made by deity); a chosen person (man) is instructed to save himself and his
family, together with living animals and to do this he is asked to build an ark (boat);
the flood destroys everyone else on the earth. The boat eventually rests on a mountain
and the birds are sent out off the boat to see if there is any land that is habitable. The
chosen man eventually sacrifices to the divine and humanity is renewed on the
earth.[footnoteRef:7] For Kitchen, the differences are that in the Genesis narrative,
deity (God) observes the wickedness that was done by the humans on the earth

We recommand P G to directly invest in this market by focusing only on Marketing
and Distribution to roll out SK II (a special product) in a foreign market. It should
not be an advantage for P G to acquire subsidiaries, or to license or to franchise
because resources and capabilities of SK II are located in Japan. It would be difficult
to find same raw materiels to produce SK II in another country. Exporting SK II in a
foreign market will be better, for that they should emphasize on: Differentiation
advantage, Changing customer behavior, Product positionning, Pricing policy,
Advertisement, Counseler team...
