Thomas Markel Jr., Chairman & Chief Executive Officer:
Mr. Markel founded iBank in 2004. He created the largest mortgage REIT on the
American Stock Exchange, IMH. IMH grew to more than $1.7 billion in assets from
November 1995 to August 1997, when Mr. Market sold his interest to Imperial Credit
Industries, Inc. He was formerly Senior Vice President of Lepercq Capital Partners, a
New York City based investment bank. Founder and former Chairman of the Second
Harvest Food Bank in Orange County, and Knight in the Order of Malta,
Ken Phibbs, Chief Technology Officer:
Mr. Phibbs joined iBank in 2008. He has over 10 years experience in the software
development industry. He previously worked with major companies executing web
technologies and data base architectures for large scale legacy systems and start-up
Internet banking web sites.
Ronald Hardaway, Chief Financial Officer:
Mr. Hardaway joined iBank in 2008. He has held several senior finance positions in both
public and privately held companies. He was formerly Senior Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of the US operations of Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest distributor
of micro computer products.
