• Used to describe the decomposition
of a Conduit
 Shows capacity and latency
• Can also decompose end node
Assets
• Add Input/Output entities to
allocate data flowing over Conduits
• Hint: start from Asset Diagram,
select Conduit for decomposition,
then open the Interface Control
Diagram

• Used to show changes in probability
of a Risk over time
• Access through Chart View
• Begin with parent Risk value
• Create child risks for each step
changing only the probability
• Associate Time entities to child
Risks using the occurs relationship
• OR create using “View Datasets”
from “wrench”

Proprietary of SPEC Innovations® 04/21/2020 at 11am EDT, Dr. Steven Dam 10
• OAuth 2.0 is the industry-standard protocol for authorization
 OAuth 2.0 focuses on simplicity while providing specific authorization flows
for web applications, desktop applications, mobile phones, and living room
devices
 This specification and its
extensions are being
developed within the IETF
OAuth Working Group
• Security Assertion Markup
Language (SAML) is an
XML-based framework
for communicating user
authentication, entitlement,
and attribute information
(see http://saml.xml.org/)
• GSA HSPD-12 Managed Service Office (MSO) established the
USAccess program as an efficient way for Federal agencies to
issue common HSPD-12 approved credentials to their employees
and contractors (see https://www.fedidcard.gov/)
 This capability uses the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) standard
• These security enhancements
provide support for single-sign on
(OAUTH/SAML) and smart card
(HSPD-12) access to Innoslate
• Provided only for Innoslate
Enterprise

AcronymExtractor
Proprietary of SPEC Innovations® 04/21/2020 at 11am EDT, Dr. Steven Dam 11
• Used to create a list of acronyms from
a document in Documents View
• Select the “Acronym Extractor”
button in the tool bar
• Select the confidence level of interest
(90%, 65%, 40%)
• Extract, Validate, and Generate
• A separate document with the
Acronyms will be created
• Acronyms are Statement objects with
relationships (related to) back to all
Statements where acronym is used
