SharePoint Server 2019 introduces new features for end users, IT professionals, and developers. For end users, there are improvements to navigation, modern sites, and document libraries. IT professionals will see new installation and migration options as well as administrative tools. Developers have an updated SharePoint Framework and new connections to PowerApps and Flow. Some features from SharePoint Online like Microsoft Graph are still missing from the on-premises version.
