3. Target Audience

audience and what types of
media do they consume?
• Why will they be interested
in your product and the
information or messages
within it?

4. Research
• What research do you need to undertake for the project and
why? What information do you hope to find out / need to find
out? - e.g. product analysis, audience survey
• What skills and knowledge do you need to learn or improve
to help you develop creative solutions and make a successful
project?
• How will you make sure that your product is fit for purpose
and that it contains the recognized codes and conventions for
that genre? Think about simple style or content that you can
copy from media products that already relate to your target
audience. E.g. the language, or tone of voice, used by the
presenter

9. My idea (example1)
Ok, so here we have some information all about the product
that I am going to make for an assignment. It is going to be a
video and all about bullying and how that really affects other
people and their lives. Firstly it will be about a boy who gets
bullied at school and then some of his friends talk to him and
make hime feel better. It is aimed at students and filmed at
college
The film will be black and white and shot in HD so it will look
really pro. Probably take me about a week to film and
another to edit the film. Probably use some actors in this film
and some cool effects.
Anyway, that is one idea and I have others so I may make
something differents anyway.
Note - I have written all this on the slide as I cannot
remember it all and have not made any presentation notes
either. I think reading of the slide is fine and shoould be
allowed anyway, lol
