process of executive coaching, a practice that
involves the strategic improvement of
performance by employees in management
positions. These improvements manifest
themselves in many ways, but before you see
results, you need to choose the correct coach.
Here are four things to look for when choosing a
good executive coach.
Executive Coach
 - A good executive coach takes a well-rounded view
of a client. He or she may consult your co-workers to
gain a broader picture of how you are perceived by
your peers. A good coach knows the importance of
seeking an outside point of view when attempting to
identify strengths and weaknesses.
- A good executive coach has a definable process or
method to coaching that he or she can communicate
to you. His or her process may include exercises such
as determining advantages and disadvantages to
management style, increasing self-awareness, or
determining career and management goals.
Conclusion
 - A good executive coach agrees upon terms of
confidentiality with a client, and openly establishes
which elements of coaching sessions will and will not
be made available to human resources or a client’s
boss. Once the agreement is made, a good coach will
not betray a client’s trust.
- A good executive coach has the capability to offer
new skills, improve knowledge of management, and
increase awareness of a client’s specific strengths
and weaknesses in business. Ultimately, a talented
coach will produce results, which should be apparent
in the performance and working relationships of a
client and the organization.

  • 2. Introduction  Human resources professional Neela Seenandan has 24 years of experience in talent development, executive recruiting, and talent management. Over the course of her career, Neela Seenandan has brought success to companies through the process of executive coaching, a practice that involves the strategic improvement of performance by employees in management positions. These improvements manifest themselves in many ways, but before you see results, you need to choose the correct coach. Here are four things to look for when choosing a good executive coach.
  • 3. Executive Coach  - A good executive coach takes a well-rounded view of a client. He or she may consult your co-workers to gain a broader picture of how you are perceived by your peers. A good coach knows the importance of seeking an outside point of view when attempting to identify strengths and weaknesses. - A good executive coach has a definable process or method to coaching that he or she can communicate to you. His or her process may include exercises such as determining advantages and disadvantages to management style, increasing self-awareness, or determining career and management goals.
  • 4. Conclusion  - A good executive coach agrees upon terms of confidentiality with a client, and openly establishes which elements of coaching sessions will and will not be made available to human resources or a client’s boss. Once the agreement is made, a good coach will not betray a client’s trust. - A good executive coach has the capability to offer new skills, improve knowledge of management, and increase awareness of a client’s specific strengths and weaknesses in business. Ultimately, a talented coach will produce results, which should be apparent in the performance and working relationships of a client and the organization.
