An algorithm is a set of steps of operations to solve a problem performing calculation, data processing, and automated reasoning tasks.
An algorithm is an efficient method that can be expressed within finite amount of Time and space.
The important aspects of algorithm design include creating an efficient algorithm to solve a problem in an efficient way using minimum time and space.
To solve a problem, different approaches can be followed. Some of them can be efficient with respect to time consumption, whereas other approaches may be memory efficient. To Evaluate An Algorithm we have to Satisfy the following Criteria:
INPUT: The Algorithm should be given zero or more input.
OUTPUT: At least one quantity is produced. For each input the algorithm produced value from specific task.
DEFINITENESS: Each instruction is clear and unambiguous.
FINITENESS: If we trace out the instructions of an algorithm, then for all cases, the algorithm terminates after a finite number of steps.
EFFECTIVENESS: Every instruction must very basic so that it can be carried out, in principle, by a person using only pencil & paper.Algorithm : Systematic logical approach which is a well-defined, step-by-step procedure that allows a computer to solve a problem.
Pseudocode : It is a simpler version of a programming code in plain English which uses short phrases to write code for a program before it is implemented in a specific programming language.
Program : It is exact code written for problem following all the rules of the programming language.Algorithm can be described (Represent) in four ways.
Natural language like English:
When this way is chooses, care should be taken, we
should ensure that each & every statement is definite.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.

This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. 2. Whatis Algorithm?
Introduction to
Algorithms
The word Algorithm means “a process or
set of rules to be followed in calculations
or other problem-solving operations”.
Therefore Algorithm refers to a set of
rules/instructions that step-by-step
define how a work is to be executed upon
in order to get the expected results.
5. Clear and Unambiguous:. Each of its steps should be
clear in all aspects and must lead to only one meaning.
Well-Defined Inputs: If an algorithm says to take
inputs, it should be well-defined inputs. if f takes real
numbers as input, and if f(0.5) does not equal f(1/2) then f is
not well-defined (and thus not a function).
Well-Defined cs: The algorithm must clearly define
what output will be yielded and it should be well-
defined as well.
Finite-ness: The algorithm must be finite, i.e. it should
not end up in an infinite loops or similar.
Feasible: The algorithm must be simple, generic and
practical, such that it can be executed upon will the
available resources. It must not contain some future
technology, or anything.
Language Independent: it must be just plain
instructions that can be implemented in any language,
and yet the output will be same, as expected.
