II. IF JESUS HAD NOT BEEN BORN IT WOULD HAVE A PROFOUND AFFECT ON OUR SPIRITUAL CONDITION
III. IF JESUS HAD NOT BEEN BORN IT WOULD HAVE A PROFOUND AFFECT ON OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE.
2. Luke 2:4-14 Joseph also went up from Galilee,
out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the
city of David, which is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and lineage of
David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his
betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So it
was, that while they were there, the days were
completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she
brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped
Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a
manger, because there was no room for them
in the inn. 8 Now there were in the same
country shepherds living out in the fields,
keeping watch over their flock by night. >>>
3. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood
before them, and the glory of the Lord shone
around them, and they were greatly afraid.
10 Then the angel said to them, "Do not be
afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of
great joy which will be to all people. 11 For
there is born to you this day in the city of
David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And
this will be the sign to you: You will find a
Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a
manger." 13 And suddenly there was with the
angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying: 14 "Glory to God in
the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill
toward men!“

6. WHAT IF I HAD NEVER BEEN BORN?
C. What if Jesus had never been born?
1. What if there had been no star?
2. No wise men?

we had never been born.
6. What would the results if Jesus Christ had
never come into our world?

D. One Solitary Life - James Allen Francis
“He was born in an obscure village, the
child of a peasant woman. He grew up in
another village, where He worked in a
carpenter shop until He was thirty. Then
for three years He was an itinerant
preacher. He never wrote a book. He never
held an office. He never had a family or
owned a home. He didn’t go to college...He
never traveled two hundred miles from the
place where he was born. He did none of
the things that usually accompany
greatness. He had no credentials but
Himself. >>>
8. WHAT IF I HAD NEVER BEEN BORN?
He was only thirty-three when the tide of
public opinion turned against Him. His
friends ran away. One of them denied Him.
He was turned over to his enemies and
went through the mockery of a trial. He was
nailed to a cross between two thieves.
While He was dying, His executioners
gambled for His garments, the only
property He had on earth. When He was
dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave
through the pity of a friend. >>>
9. WHAT IF I HAD NEVER BEEN BORN?
Twenty centuries have come and gone, and
today He is the central figure of the human
race. All the armies that ever marched, all
the navies that ever sailed, all the
parliaments that have ever sat, all the kings
that have ever reigned, put together, have
not affected the life of man on this earth as
much as that one solitary life.”

him of his clothing, wounded him, and
departed, leaving him half dead. Now by
chance a certain priest came down that road.
And when he saw him, he passed by on the
other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived
at the place, came and looked, and passed by
on the other side. >>>

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came
where he was. And when he saw him, he had
compassion. So he went to him and bandaged
his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set
him on his own animal, brought him to an inn,
and took care of him. On the next day, when he
departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to
the innkeeper, and said to him, "Take care of
him; and whatever more you spend, when I
come again, I will repay you.' So which of these

judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror
to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be
unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you
will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God's
minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be
afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he
is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on
him who practices evil.

29. WHAT IF JESUS HAD NEVER BEEN BORN?
A. IF JESUS HAD NOT BEEN BORN - by Cindy Wyatt
If Jesus the Christ had not been born
we would not have a savior
Our souls would be forever lost
and with God we could find no favor
If Jesus had not come down to earth
as a little babe born of a virgin
he could have never died for our sins
so that we could be saved and forgiven
Hallulejuh, Hallulejuh, praise God
our wonderful savior was born
and finished salvation's plan
through much agony, mocking, and scorn
as the babe in the manger grew up
and did suffer and die on Calvary's tree
so those who would accept him as their Savior
could from the bondage of sin be set free
30. WHAT IF JESUS HAD NEVER BEEN BORN?
B.BUT JESUS DID COME TO THIS EARTH!
He IS the fulfillment of every OT prophecy.

He RAISED people from the dead.
He DID walk on water.
He HAS fed the multitudes.
He DID die on the cross.>>>

He LOVES you with an everlasting love.
He WANTS to forgive your sin.
He LONGS to be your Savior.
HE WILL BE your Savior.
