5. Core Knowledge In kindergarten our biggest focus is on the 7 continents. We also study the Earth, weather, seasons, magnets, plants and animal homes. We study the continents in this order starting in December Europe Antarctica North America Africa Australia South America Asia

7. Uniforms Please help your child stay in uniform daily! No cargo pants or shorts (pockets on legs). Socks must cover above ankles. Belts must be worn on clothing with loops. Shoes are to be uniform colors, black, or grey

9. Field Trips We will be going on 3 field trips! The Environmental Learning Center Lion Country Safari Movie: The Brothers Dates and parent chaperone sign ups are coming soon!
10. Homework I will be sending home a homework calendar at the beginning of each month. Please try to work with your child for a short time each night. You do not need to return homework unless it is noted on the calendar. Please keep homework in a safe place! I recommend that you keep a box of supplies to use for homework.

12. Volunteer Hours Each Rosewood family is required to have 10 hours each school year. I will send home volunteer opportunities in the Thursday Newsletter.
