•5-day cycle includes:
oGym
oLibrary

•On the day that we do not have a
special class, we use the centers in the
Kindergarten pod
•30 minute recess every day for all
kindergarten classes
•Please label your child’s coats, hats,
gloves, etc.
•Will be outside even in the winter
•In the winter season, you may send in
boots and snow pants
•Can pay online or send in money in a
labeled envelope or bag
oRegular Lunch: $1.70
oReduced Lunch: 40 cents
oJust Milk: 50 cents
•Lunch menu also online
•Birthdays: Can send in a special snack
or purchase slushies for the class (25
cents per child)
•Bus tag on backpacks
•Any changes please contact the
office or send in a note in your
child’s agenda
•Car rider pick-up is outside
office
•School hours are 8:45-3:25
•Book buddies will be sent
home with your child every
night
•Nightly reading logs will be sent
home in the plastic bag
•Helping during parties and/or field trips
•Visiting our classroom or presenting
information of interest
•Donating items to our class
Volunteer

Classroom!
•One child from our class will be chosen
to be the “Starfish of the Week”.
•Your child will be sent home with a
letter and a poster activity one week in
advance.
•Your child will also get to take home
our “Turtle Tote”! Instructions in the
bag on how to complete the actvity
•Your child will be working to keep their clip
from moving down!
-Green: Had a good day
-Yellow: Had warnings given
-Red: Broke a major rule
•One month of all green happy faces equals a
prize from the treasure chest!
•You will be informed daily of your child’s
behavior in their agenda. Please initial each day.
