The Russian Society of Pediatric Nephrology was established in 1997 under the leadership of Prof. A.V. Papayan. It aims to improve pediatric nephrology care in Russia and facilitate knowledge sharing among its over 400 members from Russia and neighboring countries. For 15 years, the Society has organized numerous conferences and workshops to advance the field and collaborate with international organizations like IPNA and ESPN.

Main objectives:
• To improve the standard of Pediatric Nephrology care in
Russia.
• To promote the up-to date professional knowledge and share
experience of pediatric nephrology among Russian pediatric
nephrologists.
• To provide a means of liaison with workers in Pediatric
Nephrology in other parts of the world.
• Russian Association of Pediatric Nephrologists is interested in
developing national guidelines and registries of chronic kidney
diseases in children and conducting of clinical trials in
Pediatric Nephrology by collaborating with the IPNA and
ESPN.
